This is what happens when it’s almost midnight and your neighbor tells you that the cat got out of the cage… 100% my fault for not locking the third door… Apparently she just needed a little extra love and some extra food.
Cardinal lives outside the store I think. I have been hearing it all week. Champawat insisted on sitting in a kennel on the porch so she could stare at the bird intensely. 😹

New toothbrush on a new-to-brushing kitten. This is in progress but read below for tips on how to prep your cat for brushing.
So…I’ve been working my clean hands around her mouth a couple weeks during petting. Then started gently opening her mouth along the side as if to pet her teeth. Now I used that technique to place flavorless enzymatic toothpaste in and then started brushing the side of her mouth once or twice. Then letting her chew it some. This is a good milestone! In a couple weeks we should be able to post a full demo video!
