Got up at 4 a.m. to prep these gorgeous blooms for you. I wake up Mist morning ls before the sun rises ... I say my prayers, and I organize my day as I enjoy that glorious first cup of coffee.

This week is a busy one for most florists, and waking up at 4 or 5 gives me that little bit of extra time to make sure the day will be gentle on me.

Enjoying the last zinnia harvest of this past season. The zinnia plants and basil and so much more will be claimed by the frost tonight. They were so beautiful. Such a vibrant delight. But now, it is time for rest. For quiet as we savor our short-lived winter.

The ranunculus and anemone are LOVING this cold weather! They will grow string roots over winter and then burst into bloom in February. If we are lucky, we will have them by Valentine's Day ❤️

Winter doesn't slow us down. We are currently starting cold season favorites and are also cleaning up all the seeds we collected after the summer. These beauties are marigolds. Marigolds that kept on blooming despite the heat and the lack of rain. These are the beauties we need to keep breeding - hard as nails - but breathtakingly beautiful.

Natives for the Gulf Coast. We are slowly turning our front yard into a pollinator friendly garden. Plants we recommend are Mist Flower and Flowering Almond, both available and . Both are nectar heavy and bloom in fall, readying our pollinator friends for the winter.
