Destiny, the heart of HFF has decided to take time for herself and focus on her fur babies!! She’s no longer employed at her previous job and she wanted us to keep you all updated on her endeavors!! We’ll share the next journey she embarks on!! We love you, Destiny!!💖

Hey everyone, Cori here!

Wanted to say congratulations to Cedar Oaks Inn, they were featured on the TV segment The American Dream. This bed & breakfast is actually my parents property, I’ve had the honor to witness them building it from the ground up since I was 4 years old. To see it come to life about four years ago was truly a special experience and I’m so proud of my mom & dad!

They were voted the Best Bed & Breakfast in Galveston County a few months ago! If you’re looking for a beautiful get away right in Houston’s backyard, this is a hidden gem! They are happy to schedule tours and the property is available for private stays, corporate parties, and even weddings & other events.

“There is no such thing as going back to square one. Remember that you are starting over with more knowledge, strength, and power than you had before”. (Today is my orientation day and I am beyond excited to get back into working with animals. This doesn’t mean HFF will never return but it will be a while until we are capable of having a facility again. So in the meantime, I will keep my skills from getting rusty and learn some new things as well!!)
