Seemed fitting to introduce myself on my Birthday 🎉

I’m Kaci, the owning manager of Pet Spa & Retreat and Petbox Mobile.

Born in Nola ⚜️raised on the west coast ☀️🌲 my upbringing shaped my strive to have more than just a career in engineering which ofcourse pays the bills but to enjoy day to day. That’s where dog care comes in. Starting with basic pet sitting for friends while they traveled, turned into a side hustle while on maternity leave. My passion for caring for pets led myself and my family to the grooming industry by taking over a local salon.

I am so proud of growing this spa inspired salon to 9 amazing employees and 4 mobile vans. Entrepreneurship is not for the weak. 🏬🚐🚐🚐🚐

🦂In order to be a leader I had to realize and still learning that you have to be ok to be misunderstood, judged, and unliked, and keep leading and pushing through. There are many tough days but with God first and family behind me there’s been no turning back. As an engineer I have learned how to be efficient, organized, and smart with economic decisions to flip this small salon to its potential. Not everything works as I want, but I know how to make pivots when necessary. If the math not “mathing” I know to make adjustments and because of that we have been successful in this very tough industry.

Starting a business is hard but staying in the game and maintaining is harder. Kudos to myself and all the support around me, The Dog Boss 🐕🐩🐕‍🦺
