HELLO FRIENDS!

We're looking to hire TWO kitty staff!

We need a grooming assistant who is willing to learn how to help in the groom room (meaning learning to hold a kitty properly, clip nail, and bathe kitties), and a kennel staff also willing to learn. No experience necessary, but is definitely a plus! We are willing to train you, but you must be willing to learn and must be a fast learner.

Grooming Assistant schedule: Wednesday to Sunday
Kennel Staff schedule: Friday to Tuesday

FRIENDS! WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We haven't had electricity for a while, and our whole kennel is very, very cold. Our kitties and our kitty staff need your help. If you have any spare portable butane countertop range, or any battery powered space heaters, or even a spare generator, we could definitely use it to help warm up our kitties.

We aren't able to open our big gate due to the lock being frozen, or else we would've been able to rent out a generator at a nearby home depot, so if anyone out there can spare some time to help us out, that would be most appreciated.

We are worried about our kitties freezing, and also our live-in kitty staff. Please, anything would help. Thank you all for your time!

Basic knowledge of kennel work
Willing to work on weekends and holidays
TRANSPORTATION IS A MUST
Must be a self-starter
Trial period for 1-2 weeks
If selected, you will be on a 90-day probation (first week(s) included)

DUTIES INCLUDED:
Scooping litter boxes throughout the day
Feeding kitties according to their feeding schedule
Cleaning kennels (sweeping, mopping, etc.)
Doing laundry for kennels as needed
Cleaning up work areas (sweeping, mopping, etc.)
May be asked to help with grooming
HOLIDAY TIMES REQUIRE ALL HANDS ON DECK FOR CLEANING AND CARING FOR ALL KITTIES, MAY REQUIRE YOU TO WORK DURING HOLIDAYS SINCE THOSE ARE OUR BUSIEST DAYS

This Holiday season, what better way to offer a special gift to a friend or a loved one than giving a loving home to one (or two) of our amazing adoption cats. Sadly when people adopt cats they choose a kitten. But there are many "Older" cats in need of a good home. We have over 30 cats up for adoption, many who we have cared for for many years. We love them all but we would be much happier if they had a real home to go to. We are always happy to give a tour of the diverse cats who are wishing to have a family to call their own. If you plan to leave for the Holidays please book your boarding reservations now. Call the Inn (713) 523-7877 to reserve your spot We fill up fast and if you call last minute it probably will be too late.

Hope to see our regulars soon & new cats are welcome too. ALL Cats boarding or grooming must be spayed or neutered and have up-to-date shot records. Please come tour our facility any time between the hours of 10am & 3pm Mon-Sat. and Sundays 11am-2pm (We feed cats & clean kennels before and after those times). Come meet the staff and see our kennels and feel confident your cats will be treated with loving care!

We also have cats needing homes. So if you or you know someone who wants a cat or 2 (No kittens sorry) please come visit and make a new friend.
