Our Story

Luke and Kerry became the owners of The Best Little Dog House in Texas in October 2015. When they bought the business, they felt changes were needed to make the place safe and suitable for a cage-free daycare. 2016 was a year that included major renovations to the structure - including a new lobby, building separate play areas, a sectioned off walk way to the grooming area for large dogs to pass through without interrupting the small dogs' play time, higher walls that the dogs cannot jump over, fixing damage to the existing structure, and adding extra doors to make stop gaps for safety. They have cleaned everything up and have added new feeding crates, a brighter interior color and decorations, new outside signage, and redone landscaping in the front of the building to make clear sidewalk passage for all neighbors. They are putting their hearts into this space because they truly love animals and believe in the mission of excellent pet care for small dogs.
