Something HUGE happened in LaPorte, Texas this week!

The Canine Cookery is now exclusively using The Bass Bros. Bees honey in the Pumpkin Loaf and Banana, Peanut butter cookies!! This is a locally made honey and (in case you didn't know) local honey is the absolute best for allergies! Yes, even for dogs!

Local supporting Local is huge in LaPorte. And The Canine Cookery absolutely LOVES all of the local businesses and the owners! If you haven't seen The Bass Bros Bees products...you are missing out! They have everything! From lip balm, lotion and even paw & nose balm for your furbabies! (These things are amazing)

This Friday The Canine Cookery will be at Stacy’s Dog Grooming LLC La Porte, TX be sure to drop by and get some treats for your pups! And...a $10 doggie nail trim (cash only)

It is a very sad day for The Canine Cookery. Just Wednesday we would learn that Kaizer had Lymphoma Cancer. And this morning this sweet boy took his last breath. 😢

Kaizer was an original Canine Cookery Club Member. Even before it was an official business. I have known his people for years and they are like family. There was an immediate bond with Kaizer and myself. We were always excited to see each other and exchange kisses and cuddles. When I would sit down...he would sit on my feet and face forward as if to guard me. I was his person while I was visiting.

When I went to the vet to be with him and the family he still had wags and kisses for me, even though he was too weak to get up. 💔 There was no way to stop the flow of tears...I could have never imagined that would be our "See you later"

The pictures are from his last birthday. His 8th birthday is in just one week from today. In honor of his life The Canine Cookery is declaring April 27th "Kaizer Day" every year, anyone that places an order on that day will get a free paw cake to celebrate and remember Kaizer.

You will always be loved, Kaizer Roll!! 💙

Please check your dog food. Multiple brands being recalled (Including Victor) with a 'best if used by' date of October 31,2024. The recall is coming out of Mount Pleasent, Texas.

FDA, CDC, and state partners are investigating an outbreak of Salmonella Kiambu that is potentially associated with pet food made by Mid America Pet Food.

So many hearts are hurting today with the loss of a faithful, loyal family member and very loved Grandpup, Bailey.

The Canine Cookery sends our deepest sympathy and prayers for all that feel the loss. There are no words to heal this pain...only hugs and memories.

Bailey, you are loved. You will be forever missed, Sweet Girl!

I have been told that if a dog sits on your feet it means they love you. This dog spent many hours of her life sitting on my feet and maneuvering my hand so she got more pets. She would empty her bowl when I came to visit, as if to show me that she was never fed. She followed me around the house all day when visiting. She showed me what unconditional love truly means.

Her health has been deteriorating for a while, and we have known for the last week that she would be leaving us soon. Our family is heartbroken and will miss her terribly.

Thank you Bailey Boo! We rescued you, and you rescued us right back. We will love you forever!! See you at the rainbow bridge!!
