Unfortunately we have made the difficult decision to go back to curbside only.

Until further notice, clients will not be allowed in the clinic.

This decision has been made due to the resurgence of COVID cases in our area. We know that this is very inconvenient however, a local clinic has had to shut down completely until further notice due to COVID cases in their clinic.

We will open back up to clients as soon as possible.

Please Stay Safe

Sincerely,

Glade Valley Veterinary Clinic

We are so excited that the time has finally come to allow pet parents into the clinic! Please be patient as we "work out the details". We are still understaffed and doing our best to keep up and meet your needs. As always, we love working with your babies.

Please read our proceedures so you will know what to expect. Just know that from time to time we may need to adjust some things.

Re-opening Procedures
• Clients are to call on arrival with information on patients and what parking space they are in.
• Client has the option to come in or stay in the car.
• Client should make a list of all concerns/procedures to be done while in the clinic. Additional concerns may require a follow-up appointment.
• Client will wait in the car until escorted into an exam room.
• One person per pet. Maximum 2 people in exam room.
• Clients picking up meds/food should call when they get to the clinic and they will be allowed to come in if they choose as long as there are no more than 2 clients in the lobby at a time and social distancing is maintained.
• While in the exam rooms, the client should observe social distancing while the technicians and Vets are in the room. All staff and clients will assume total personal responsibility for their own health risks.
• If there are no open appointments, but a current patient is sick, the Vets/Staff have the option of having the patient dropped off for exam/diagnostics or refer the patient to an Emergency Clinic of their choice.
• Due to unexpected procedures/emergencies or additional testing, appointments and schedules may be delayed. Calling ahead is recommended before you leave home. We appreciate your patience.
• We ask for client patience as we are trying add quality staff personnel in order to build back our hours. Until this happens, our hours will remain Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from 7 am until 6 pm.

02/18/2021

The clinic will be open today from 10 am until about 4 pm. Primarily for medicine refills, food and urgent medical needs.

******🐾Attention Twyla’s followers and friends, we have an amazing announcement! 🐾**********

We have been busy doing accounting and .... drumroll please....Thanks to your love and support, we are ELATED to announce that Dobby’s medical expenses are fully funded!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 We cannot thank you all enough for your generosity and support of our mission! We could not do the work that we do without all of you!!!! Yay Team Dobby!!! We are beyond thrilled that we met our goal for him!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
As you can imagine, with the Covid situation and having so many events cancelled that we rely on annually for fundraising, particularly with the sale of our beautiful collars, we are down considerably with funds that we depend on to be able to save as many dogs as we possibly can. We have decided to do a few different things his year to raise funds for our general fund. We are offering porch pickup here in Kingwood of our holiday collars. Payment will be done via PayPal.😀😀😀We are also doing a holiday raffle to raise additional funds for Twyla’s Friends! More details to come on the holiday raffle in a separate post.Thank you all once again, from the bottoms of our paws, for your support with Dobby ,and all you do for Twyla’s 🐾🐾🐾
P.S.Dobby is looking into the fire and thinking he cannot believe how his life has changed thanks to Team Dobby and his foster family.💕

Dear Beloved patients and clients...We just wanted to update you on our current policies. We have our reception staff back in place, but because of this, we CAN NOT risk having pet owners in the clinic at this time. We will continue CURBSIDE service until we feel that it is safer. Rest assured that when your babies are in the clinic with us they are treated like family. Our doctors and techs are more than willing to discuss any concerns with you in our parking lot.

Also at this time we must keep our limited hours in place. We will extend our hours as soon as we have the staffing to handle it.

We miss seeing you in the clinic but we want everyone safe and healthy.

04/15/2020

Attention: Until further notice, the clinic will be closed on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

If you have an emergency, our local Animal Emergency Clinic, adjacent to Deerbrook Mall, is now open. Call 281-446-4900 for information. Or you can call Blue Pearl Specialty & Emergency Clinic off of Spring-Cypress at 832-616-5000.

We will be open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 7 am until 6 pm.

Sincerely,

Glade Valley Veterinary Clinic

COVID-19

Dear Clients,

We are open but with a few changes during this stressful time. We have normal business hours on Monday - Friday. We will be open from 7am until 6pm. Until further notice, we will be closed on Saturdays.

To maintain the safe distance that is mandated, we are using a "curbside only" practice. When you arrive at the clinic, just call the clinic or text our cell phone number at 936-203-7762. We will send someone out as soon as possible. If we need to take your pet into the clinic for examination, we will have the doctor come to your car to discuss the findings or call you. Please make sure we have a current cell phone number.

We are working diligently with our suppliers to be well stocked on medications and diets, however, you may expect some delay in certain items. If possible please let us know what your pet needs well in advance.

We appreciate your patience at this time. Please understand that we are working with a reduced number of staff and the new system takes more time so your wait time will be longer than you are used to from us. We dearly value your support and love your pets and want to see both owners and pets healthy and safe.

Sincerely,

Glade Valley Veterinary Clinic

Something cool for your summer weekend!

This little kitten was found at less than 3 days old on the streets of Japan. The vet said he probably wouldn’t live. A little boy named him Koma and decided this was a job for the superhero Ultraman. Sometimes we need a superhero. ❤️❤️
