Meet Jackson

Jackson is one of 5 pups born to their mom Juliette.
We rescued Juliette while she was highly pregnant and after a lengthy and difficult delivery, she gave birth to 5 healthy babies at her foster home.
Jackson and his siblings have been thriving at their foster’s house and have received their first vaccinations. They will be ready to leave soon so we are accepting adoption applications for them.

Jackson is the largest of his litter and is a typical little rowdy playful boy. He’s a charmer and loves to be cuddled but he very much enjoys playtime, when he gets to wrestle with his siblings and tackle every toy he can find.

Jackson is currently being fostered in Texas but available to transport to approved adopter in the Midwest, Northeast and Canada.

Adoption fee includes vaccinations, Spay/Neuter, microchip, deworming, heartworm test.

Jolie the most “poodle” looking of the litter. A little shy, but can hold her own with her rowdy brother. She loves to be held and carried around and likes sitting in your lap!

As we make our way back south from our Midwest trip, our hearts are happy about all these wonderful dogs we just delivered to loving families. 💖🐶💖🐶💖🐶💖

The joy we feel, when we hand dogs to adopters who are excited to receive their new family members, simply never gets old.
It’s this joy and excitement, and seeing the “rescue journey” of these dogs come full circle, that gives us the strength to come back to Houston and keep rescuing.
The memories of these deliveries remind us that we make a difference and that there is a “happily ever after” in store for these dogs, many of whom were close to dying in the streets or the shelters, before a rescue and their fosters saved them.

4 of our dogs found their forever homes in the Midwest yesterday and we love that we personally get to deliver them to our amazing adopters, who will give these fabulous dogs their forever homes 🥰🥰🥰

All of these dogs were close to death prior to coming into our rescue, either because they were starving and dehydrated by the side of the road, or because they were minutes from being euthanized at the shelter due to lack of space. Whatever their past and their brush with death, we are so very happy that we were able to save them and find them the loving homes they deserve.
All of this was made possible, thanks to wonderful fosters, who took amazing care of these pups, and by your donations to our rescue, which helped us pay for all their medical needs to get them healthy and ready for adoption. 💖🐶💖🐶💖

We are grateful to our supporters. Please keep the support coming 🙏🙏🙏🙏
We have many more dogs in our program who need your help. 💕🐾💕🐾💕🐾💕🐾

We wish these babies the very best lives possible and we are grateful to these adopters for giving a loving home to a Texas rescue dog❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️

We want to take this moment to give a big shout out of THANKS 🎉❤️🎉 to Leticia Hess with Pet Supplies Plus - Houston - Braes Heights, TX

Our foster went there today to purchase items for our rescue and when Leticia heard who the foster was purchasing for, she loaded them up with lots of dog food as a donation to our rescue.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts 🥰 🐾❤️
We cannot express just how grateful we are and your support means the world to us❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️

Nothing makes us happier than to be able to share another adoption 💖🐶🩷🐶

Sweet POPPY has been adopted 🎉🎉🎉🎉
After being born at a commercial industrial jobsite in Houston, where one of her siblings was killed by an 18-wheeler, then coming into the rescue, where Poppy and her sister Dottie broke with Parvo a day later, to spending 2 nights at the vet, going into quarantine while recovering from Parvo, to finally going to the foster in Ft Worth, after they both recovered and were able to be vaccinated, Dottie now has a wonderful loving new mom & dad who are so excited to welcome her into their family.
💕🐾💕🐾💕🐾💕🐾

This is what we call a success story, and the happy ending we want for all our dogs.

Congratulations on finding your “happily ever after”. Have a wonderful life❣️❣️
We love you 😘 🥰❤️

Friends, we need your help please!!🙏 🙏🙏🙏🙏

As you know, we are still in the beginning stages of recovering from Hurricane Beryl, which turned our lives upside down 3 days ago.

Thankfully our fosters and the dogs are all safe and doing well but many of us are still without power and have major cleanup work to do.

This cleanup comes with a lot of expense. Many of our fosters have been kind enough to provide food for their foster dogs, but now that they are losing income due to workplaces being closed because the power is still out, and having to pay for cleanup of trees, replacements of fences, etc, the rescue will need to provide the food. Of course we are happy to do this, but our funds are very low and we would greatly appreciate your help.

We also need to replace $500 worth of vaccines that were in the fridge when we lost power and we were unable to get power to the fridge for more than 24 hours, so those vaccines are no longer usable.

In total we really need to raise about $1500 to see us through the recovery process.

Any amount helps!!!!
We are dedicated to these dogs, and to giving them the life they deserve, but we need your help. 🙏🙏🙏

Meet LULU 💖🐶💖

This gorgeous girl is approximately 7 to 8 years old, and weighs around 55 lbs.
Lulu is free of heartworms and up to date on her vaccines and is spayed. She is a very healthy dog.
Lulu currently lives as an only dog with 2 adults, so she gets very excited when people come over, but will calm down quickly when the initial introductions are over.
She has done well around other dogs at the dog park but doesn't like cats.
She is housetrained and crate-trained.
She does have some storm anxiety but responds well to medication to keep her calm, when her humans can’t be home with her when it's raining.

Lulu is an excellent traveler and loves to be outdoors. Her favorite toy is her purple, squeaky bone or her lamb.

She is leash-trained but could use some additional training as she will still pull a little when walking. her, but we have her on a leash as often as possible.

Lulu is a sweet and happy girl and we know she is going to make someone very happy and a wonderful companion.

Lulu is currently in Texas but is available for transport to approved adopter in most states in the Midwest or Northeast and Canada.

Adoption fee includes vaccinations, Spay/neuter, microchip, deworming and heartworm test.

Meet DOTTIE 🩷🐾🩷

Dottie is a 42lb spayed female Shepherd mix pup, estimated to be seven months old.
She is up to date on all her vaccines.
Dottie is crate trained and potty trained.
She loves to play tug of war with a playmate and loves to play chase or keep away with sticks!
Dottie is heartworm negative and is on monthly prevention for heartworm, flea, and tick.
This sweet little girl only barks to play and if her foster is too slow with her dinner!
She is a fun loving girl, very smart, and learns new things quickly.
She is dog friendly to all breeds and sizes she has met.
Dottie does bark at her foster’s small kitty, so we think she would do best in a home without feline friends.
She is people friendly to adults and to children and would make a great family dog.
She is not destructive but if left alone she may chew on something left on the floor since, after all, she is still a puppy!
Dottie is working on her commands including sit, come, heel for walking on a leash, and off for not jumping on her humans. She loves to be active and loves to cuddle and play. She likes chew toys and bully sticks and will remove squeakers for you in her stuffie!
Dottie rides well in the car without anxiety and sleeps in her crate at night but would certainly enjoy sleeping with her humans if allowed.
She would do well with an active single person or couple or family.
This adventurous and curious pup is up for any adventure and has an active “on the go”personality and with proper recall she could be a great hiking and fishing buddy!
Dottie could be an only dog or have a doggie buddy!
Her perfect forever family should continue her training and she would do well with a fenced yard as she is not yet off leash trained.
Are you ready to add some “Dottie magic” to your life?

Dottie is currently being fostered in Texas but available to transport to approved adopter in the Midwest, Northeast and Canada.

Adoption fee includes vaccinations, Spay/Neuter, microchip, deworming, heartworm test.

Meet POPPY 💕🐶🐾

Poppy is a 35lb spayed female Shepherd mix, estimated to be seven months old.
She is up to date on all her vaccinations.

Poppy is crate trained and potty trained. She loves to play tug of war with a playmate and to fetch sticks.
This sweet girl, who was rescued from a construction site (with her sister Dottie) and subsequently beat Parvo, is heartworm negative and is on monthly prevention for heartworm, flea, and tick.
She barks to play and is a fun loving gal growing into those adorable ears. She is dog friendly to all breeds and sizes that she has encountered.
She seems to ignore her foster’s small kitty that lives with her. She is people friendly to adults and to children and would make a great family dog.
Poppy is not destructive but if left alone with a tempting sock or shoe she might chew it since, after all, she is a puppy! She is working on her commands including sit, come, heel for walking on a leash, and off for not jumping on her humans. She loves to be active and loves to cuddle and play. She likes chew toys and bully sticks and most likely will remove squeakers for you in her stuffie!
Poppy rides well in the car without anxiety and sleeps in her crate at night but could certainly sleep with her humans at night. She would do well with an active single person or couple or family. She is up for any adventure and has a very sweet and calm personality even as a puppy.
Sweet Poppy could be an only dog or have a doggie buddy! Her forever family should continue her training and she would do well with a fenced yard as she is not yet off leash trained.
She is looking for her forever family!!

Poppy is currently being fostered in Texas but available to transport to approved adopter in the Midwest, Northeast and Canada.

Adoption fee includes vaccinations, Spay/Neuter, microchip, deworming, heartworm test.

Meet Tonka 💕🐶🐾

Tonka is a 5yo neutered male American bulldog, weighing 65-70lbs. The shelter estimates his date of birth to have been June 2019.
Through no fault of his own he found himself at the local shelter on the euthanasia list.
Thankfully our foster stepped up and said NO WAY!! This handsome boy is going home through the front doors and not out in a body bag!
Tonka is up to date on all shots and is heartworm negative. He is on monthly heartworm prevention along with flea and tick prevention. Tonka must have had a family at some point because he has great manners. He is house trained and crate trained. Though he is not a huge fan of the crate, he will go in it for some yummy goodies!
He is not destructive or a digger.
Tonka loves to be on the go and loves car rides. He sleeps in his crate at night, even with the door open.
He is dog friendly to both male and female dogs. We are not certain about cats. His foster has a cat and he seems to ignore her but he is not confronted with her continuously. Based on his behavior and overall personality, we believe he would do fine in a home with a dog-savvy cat.
He is not a hiker or runner and needs someone who doesn’t leave him outside as due to his “smooshy” face the extreme heat or extreme cold could affect his breathing and become dangerous for him.
He is a medium activity level, not hyper and not a couch potato but somewhere in the middle. He enjoys adventures and outings and loves playtime, but he’s also perfectly happy to spend time cuddling with you while you binge watch Netflix.
He is not yet off leash trained but knows heel for leash walking, sit, come, and off for not jumping on his humans. Tonka is very focused on his humans and wants to be wherever you are.
He is adult and child friendly and overall is more of a laid back kinda guy! He is super sweet and very cuddly. It was hard to even get pictures of him because he kept sitting beside me smiling and grinning from ear to ear! He will bark if he needs to go out and potty and he will bark if he thinks you are late or taking too long to fix his dinner, other than that, he’s more of the strong silent type.
His best family could be with a doggie buddy or by himself.
He would do well with a couple, single person, or family as long as they include him in their daily life and play and cuddle with him.
Tonka has this really cute habit, when you talk to him or sing to him he wags his little nubby and turns his head sideways to watch you.
Whoever left him at the shelter, left a big sweet baby! We are so happy we could save his life. Now we want nothing more than for Tonka to find his forever family. Could that be you?

Tonka is currently being fostered in Texas but available to transport to approved adopter in the Midwest, Northeast and Canada.

Adoption fee includes vaccinations, Spay/Neuter, microchip, deworming, heartworm test.

Meet VANILLA 💕🐶💕

Vanilla is a spayed female Boxer mix weighing around 45lbs.
The shelter estimated her birthday to be November 21, 2022
Vanilla (and her brother Sugar) found herself in the shelter on the list to be euthanized, due to lack of space.
We couldn’t let that happen, so our foster picked them up and has been taking care of them since then.

Vanilla is house trained and crate trained and has not been destructive inside or outside of the home.
If she gets bored with nothing to do, she sometimes will try to dig in the backyard.
She barks only if he needs or wants something.
Vanilla sleeps quietly in her crate at night.
She has no issues with car rides and loves to accompany her humans wherever they go.
Vanilla likes other male dogs but prefers to be the only female pup in the house.

Vanilla would do best in a home without cats since she likes to chase them. We don’t believe that she intends to hurt them but cats are usually not fond of being chased.

Vanilla is an active girl who needs a fenced yard. She has been working with a trainer on her basic doggie commands like sit, come, stay, heel for leash walking, off for not jumping on her humans, and nice or gentle for taking treats.
She would be a great partner for long walk or possibly hiking if the weather was not too hot, however she is not yet off leash trained.
Her ideal family could be a couple or family with older children or single person as long as she gets plenty of exercise. She could be an only dog or have a male buddy.
Vanilla likes to run and play chase in the yard.
She is up to date on all shots including rabies and is heartworm negative and on monthly prevention against fleas/ticks/ heartworms.
She is also microchipped.

Her shelter paperwork labels her as a Pittie but her behavior and that adorable underbite (which really shows when she’s happy and “smiling” at you) make us believe that she is more likely a Boxer mix. She acts and looks more like a Boxer.
Vanilla is a sweet, loving and active girl who likes her butt scratched and lives for belly rubs!
Her best forever home would include her in their daily adventures so Vanilla does not get bored!

Vanilla is currently being fostered in Texas but available to transport to approved adopter in the Midwest, Northeast and Canada.

Adoption fee includes vaccinations, Spay/Neuter, microchip, deworming, heartworm test.

It’s $5 Friday!

These are just a few of the amazing dogs we have available for adoption right now.
While these dogs are waiting to find their forever families, they require vetting and supplies, which gets very costly.

Our rescue funds are dangerously low and we desperately need your help to be able to keep saving dogs like these.

We have over 4000 followers, just think of the difference we can make if everyone donated $5.
That’s less than many people spend on their morning coffee.

Please help us 🙏🙏🙏

We are a small rescue trying to make a big difference.
We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit, so your donations are tax deductible.

We are hugely grateful for your support❣️❣️❣️

Meet YUKI❄️🐶❄️

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to hug a polar bear?
Well, wonder no more, meet Yuki!!!
Yuki means “snow” in Japanese and this boy is as unique as every snowflake and can’t help but put a smile on your face with his personality.
We don’t know much about Yuki and his previous life.
We do believe that at some point he did have a human. He adores people and craves love and attention, he is an expert hugger. Yuki wants nothing more than to be loved.
Because his past is unknown to us, he does have some quirks but they are manageable.
For example, he is hesitant to walk down a busy street. With lots of encouragement, he musters up his polar bear strength and works through his fear.
Yuki would benefit from being in a home that is familiar with his breed.
We believe Yuki is a Great Pyrenees/Malamute mix,
Estimated to be approximately 2 years old, he’s still a young guy with an “old soul” who has many years left of loving his perfect family.
Yuki doesn’t mind his crate.
Yuki does not appear to be 100% potty trained, yet he does keep his crate neat and tidy. He currently wears a belly band, just in case. We do think that this should resolve in time, as he gets to know your routine.
He knows when it’s time to eat and he goes to his “house” and waits for his meal to be served.
Yuki is a large dog at 70 lbs and we are working on fattening him up since he is about 20 lbs underweight. When we saved him from the shelter, he was fighting a severe URI, which we have been treating and he is improving daily.
This gentle giant enjoys bursts of energy and can keep up with some of the fastest dogs at the park. Yuki would probably enjoy a yard but is also content and happy in an apartment, as long as he gets plenty of walks and playtime.
Yuki loves to learn. He is motivated by attention (not so much food). He learned his basic commands by seeing how much praise the resident dog in his foster home was receiving.
He wanted the same attention and learned quite quickly.
We meant it when we said he is as unique as a snowflake.
Yuki is dog and cat friendly. He enjoys playing with dogs and will correct over stimulated dogs several times, he has a lot of patience but prefers to play with dogs that are socialized well.
We would suggest a home with older kids due to his size, or parents who understand his breed and can work with him because, unfortunately, he thinks he is a lap dog.
There is something truly special about Yuki and that “something” was in his shelter photo when he landed him self on the dreaded “EU” list. Whatever it is, it’s magical, it’s the love and patience in his eyes, it’s the way he looks at his people with unconditional love.
Yuki is a snowflake that lands on your nose and just makes your heart smile.

Yuki is currently being fostered in Texas but available to transport to approved adopter in the Midwest, Northeast and Canada.

Adoption fee includes vaccinations, Spay/Neuter, microchip, deworming, heartworm test.

Gracie’s babies are now 7 weeks old, have received first vaccines and are thriving. 💖🐾💖🐾💖🐾

This precious momma has been a wonderful mom for them but now that she’s done nursing we will get her spayed, vaccinated and ready for adoption. We can’t wait for her to move on from “mommy duty” and begin her own wonderful life with a loving forever family. 🐶💕🐶

Gracie is an American Bully, weighing about 35lbs.
She absolutely LOVES KIDS (even with the foster’s 2 year old toddler😍).
She doesn’t appear to be a huge fan of other dogs (but we will confirm this as this may still be due to being protective of her pups).

Her babies GARRETT, GRIFFIN, GIDEON, GAVIN & GALEN (boys) and GISELLE, GIANNA, GEMMA & GIA (girls) will also be ready for their forever homes soon.
💕🐾💕🐾💕🐾💕🐾💕🐾

If you are interested in adopting either Gracie or one of her pups, please submit your adoption application.

Sugar is a neutered male Boxer mix weighing around 52lbs.

We couldn’t let that happen, so our foster picked them up and has been taking care of them since then.

Sugar is house trained and crate trained and has not been destructive inside or outside of the home.
If he gets bored with nothing to do he sometimes will try to dig in the backyard.
He barks only if he needs or wants something.
Sugar sleeps quietly on a doggie bed in his crate at night.
He has no issues with car rides and loves to accompany his humans wherever they go.
He likes other female dogs but does not like other male dogs. He wants to be the only male dog in his forever home.

Sugar is cat friendly and how we know this is a funny story.
When he had just come to the foster’s home, unbeknownst to the foster, her cat got in his crate while he was outside playing and going potty.
Once he came back inside, he went straight into his crate as he has been taught. A while later the foster couldn’t find her kitty anywhere and when she opened the door to Sugar’s crate, there sat Sugar, perfectly behaved with her little kitty sitting next to him. Sugar seemed to say “Mom I don’t think that kitty belongs in here but I didn’t hurt her at all!”

Sugar is an active guy who needs a fenced yard. He has been working with a trainer on his basic doggie commands like sit, come, stay, heel for leash walking, off for not jumping on his humans, and nice or gentle for taking treats.
He would be a great partner for long walk or possibly hiking if the weather was not too hot. He is not yet off leash trained.
His ideal family could be a couple or family with older children or single person as long as he gets plenty of exercise. He can be an only dog or have a female buddy.
Sugar likes to run and play chase in the yard.
He is up to date on all shots including rabies and is heartworm negative and on monthly prevention against fleas/ticks/ heartworms.
He is also microchipped.

His shelter paperwork labels him as a Pittie but his behavior and underbite make us believe that he is more likely a Boxer mix. He acts and looks more like a male boxer.
Sugar is a handsome active guy with a lovable underbite. He likes his butt scratched and belly rubs!
His best forever home would include him in their daily adventures so Sugar does not get bored!

Sugar is currently being fostered in Texas but available to transport to approved adopter in the Midwest, Northeast and Canada.

Adoption fee includes vaccinations, Spay/Neuter, microchip, deworming, heartworm test.

Meet QUARTZ 💖🐶💖

Quartz is a 8 month old, gorgeous Merle American Bulldog mix with a very confident and curious nature.
Quartz loves to snuggle but is also full of energy to play and learn.
Quartz has been around many dogs but does best with non-dominant dogs who are her size or larger. Small dogs, cats and other small animals tend to activate her prey drive.
Quartz loves to learn and is food motivated and would thrive in an active home with a confident leader who shows her the boundaries. She does well with kids but would be best in a home with children over 10 years old due to her size and strength. She might easily unintentionally knock over a small child with her exuberance.
Quartz is a smart girl who would benefit from continued training to give her the physical and mental stimulation she needs. She could live with a dog buddy but also do great as an only dog.
Quartz is ready to be a true companion for someone who will take her everywhere and make every day an adventure.

Quartz is currently being fostered in Texas but available to transport to approved adopter in the Midwest, Northeast and Canada.

Adoption fee includes vaccinations, Spay/Neuter, microchip, deworming, heartworm test.

Meet WILLOW 💖🐾💖

Hey there!
Willow here, the pint-sized dynamo of your dreams! At a sprightly six months old, I'm a lab mix with a heart of gold and a nose for trouble – but in the cutest way possible, of course. Picture this: me, bounding around with boundless energy, eyes gleaming with mischief as I chase after chew toys like they're the last treats on Earth. Seriously, I live for those things! And speaking of treats, let me tell you, I'm as food motivated as they come. You flash a tasty snack my way, and I'm all ears (and paws) – ready to show off my best tricks for a bite of that good stuff!

But hey, it's not all play and snacks with me. I've got a softer side too. I'm a total cuddle bug, with a knack for turning even the most mundane moments into cozy snuggle sessions. And don't let my playful antics fool you – I'm a quick learner who's always eager to please. Sure, I might occasionally mistake your hair for a chew toy (oops, my bad!), but hey, nobody's perfect, right? So if you're looking for a furry bundle of joy who's equal parts mischief and snuggles, look no further – Willow's the name, and stealing hearts is my game!

I’m house trained, kennel trained and eager to learn anything new you want to teach me. I’m ready to be a true “by your side” companion.
I would love an active home and I would even enjoy another fur-sibling or two to play with.

Piper is currently being fostered in Texas but available to transport to approved adopter in the Midwest, Northeast and Canada.

Adoption fee includes vaccinations, Spay/Neuter, microchip, deworming and heartworm test.
