Congratulations to our spectacular pet owners and longtime clients, Mr. and Mrs. Rene Martinez! This summer we had a raffle where purchases of , , or gave our clients a chance to win a automatic sweep and mop system named, Dustin. Out of the almost 600 entries, Mr. And Mrs. Rene Martinez won, who have been clients of Heights Veterinary Clinic since 1991. 🚨🚨 HVC-NW will be open today, Friday July 19th, BUT power is not fully restored.

We still do not have power fully restored to our facility but we will be OPEN for appointments tomorrow, Friday, July 19, and, Saturday, July 20. We thank you tremendously for your patience over the last two weeks. We ask for just a bit more as we navigate the next few days until CenterPoint provides a solution.

We will have limited diagnostics available - bloodwork, urinalysis, heartworm tests and f***l testing - if your pet has not been feeling well. Our x-ray machine will not be in service. We have available all feline and canine vaccinations, Cytopoint, and Librela, you have been waiting to update. We will have cooling towers in the lobby to help cool a portion of the clinic but it will be a bit uncomfortable. We encourage you to consider check-in by phone or text so that you can remain cool and comfortable in your car while we take care of your pet.

We are so happy that we have this option to open our doors again to our community. We miss you all and miss being able to serve you.

Our phones will be on tomorrow to receive calls, along with continued text and email communications.

Center point has notified us July 19th or 20th for power to be restored. We are hopeful for sooner.

It truly pains us that our clinic is still not in operation after this last week. We truly appreciate our clients who have been sending us good vibes and checking in on us during these times and in return we wish we could help you all more than we have been able to.

💙 If your pet needs prescription refills and presciption diet, you can text us at 832.982.2365 and we can arrange for pickup as long as we have them in stock.

💙 We have some capabilities to check your pet's vaccine records and can text them to you if you need them for boarding. Just send us a text message.

💙 We are working on our online pharmacy to get at home delivery prescriptions to you.

💙 As of today, we have better responses to emails.

💙 Once again, please see the comments section for clinics, GP and emergency, that can assist you and your pet in our absence.

📣📣 Beryl has done a number and we are still without power. We thank our clients that have been calling or texting for their patience. As soon as we have power restored, we will get a game plan to get back to serving our clients and their cherished pets. 📣📣

In the meantime, if your pet is experiencing any urgent problems or an emergency, there is always VEG, GCVS, and VERGI close to us. There are a few veterinary clinics in our area that are open as well.

🐈🐈His name is Rio!🐈🐈
🎶 🎵 and he dances on the sand 🎵🎶

Rio is up for adoption at HVC-NW. He was found over the weekend and is looking for a furrever home. Rio is 10 to 12 weeks old and received his first round of FVRCP+FeLV. He is FeLV negative and FIV negative. He will be neutered and microchipped. Adoption fee is $50. Let us know if you are interested in meeting Rio. He makes some scrumptious kitty biscuits!

To our clients,

Construction 🚧 along Sherwood is more than 50% complete! We have updates to share with you to hopefully ease your visit to the clinic with your furry companion.

The construction on Sherwood has moved. It is now directly in front of our clinic. If you're coming from TC Jester, you'll need to come up Brookwoods, which is one street south of Sherwood and take a right on Helberg (you can't take a left off of Vollmer at this time). When you get to Sherwood, you'll take a right, and we'll be on the right. If you're coming from Mangum, you'll take a right on Sherwood, and it's open all the way to the clinic. Please give yourself plenty of time.

Sherwood is looking better and better each day. Hang in there, construction 🚧 is almost complete!

Update: Blue Papito has been found! Thanks to everyone in GOOF community.

Please be on the lookout for Blue Papito. He has been missing since Monday but spotted multiple times along Sherwood Lane near Heights Veterinary Clinic Northwest.
