Heights Veterinary Clinic is a drop off spot for gifts and toys for children from infants to 17 years old. If you're running errands nearby, stop and help fill our boxes. If you're bringing your pet in for an appointment, consider dropping off a gift at the same time. Toys collected will be carefully bundled for children that are cared for by Harris County CPS. As the holiday season arrives, we'd like to update you on our clinic hours for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Eve.

We hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving this Thursday if we don't get the chance to tell your personally. The team will share a Thanksgiving luncheon this Wednesday so we appreciate your understanding that we will be closed for a few hours this Wednesday as well.

Did you know?!?!

Dr. Slack and Kimberly, PM, will be partnering with of Houston, Texas this Saturday. The Street Dog Coalition provides free veterinary care and related services to pets of people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Using a One Health approach to street medicine and pop-up street clinics, we care for lives on both ends of the leash.

If you are interested in donating to this effort, items accepted are leashes, pet toys and bedding, pet and human treats, and human hygiene supplies. You can bring them to our clinic this week. Monetary donations are accepted on the Street Dog Coalition website -https://www.thestreetdogcoalition.org/ways-to-give

We look forward to sharing with you highlights from the first event our team will be volunteering at this Saturday.
