📢 UPDATE ON SIMBA! 📢

He has just had his third surgery and we are hopeful that he is on the road to recovery!

Unfortunately, it will take some time before we know if he is out of the woods, so we ask that you keep him in your thoughts and share some kind words for us to read to him! ☺️

As a no-kill rescue and sanctuary, we never make the decision to euthanize unless a cat’s suffering cannot be relieved and all options have been exhausted for their quality of life to be improved.

We are able to do this because of the support of those who understand that every single cat deserves a chance at a long and happy life, and will help us in our mission to achieve that.

As we countdown to Christmas and the start of a new year, we wish that every person who sees this video could consider donating towards Simba’s care, so that by this time next year he will be happy and healthy, thriving in a home of his own enjoying the lights of a Christmas tree with presents waiting for him.

Today's Cat of the Week is going to be a little bit different.

This week we are highlighting a very special adoption happening today.

Miss Emyl will be leaving us to go to her new forever home as part of one of our few out-of-state adoptions! 🥳🎉

After being with us for multiple years, we are beyond excited to see Emyl off as she starts this new phase of her life.

We hope that she enjoys experiencing the first real winter of her life, and that the warmth of the holidays and a new place to call her own will keep her nice and cozy! 🎅☃
