We would like to express our sincerest gratitude and condolences to the family William Cunningham. William Cunningham was called to Heaven last April.

His love of Basset Hounds (and dogs in general) was so great. It’s one of his family’s fondest memories of him, his unparalleled adoration for his dog. Up to the very end Belle, his Basset, was by his side.

We are so grateful and forever thankful for the gift he left to us in bequest. We are honored to have received it. Through his generosity, we have been able to help two of our alumni hounds that were adopted some time ago with health issues. One had to have expensive back surgery, he is now walking like nothing happened! Our vet bills are so much higher these days with the price of everything rising. We have taken in some pretty sick hounds lately and have been able to make the last years of their lives so much better. We are thankful and most importantly, the Hounds are thankful.

Spent the day with my foster mom at work yesterday. Sang the song of my people, they took all my blood, took a nap, got some good snuggles and sunshine, and went home to my foster hounds. Boy was I exhausted last night! ~Adeline
