Plant It Forward works with recently located refugees to start up their own local farms. To combat high land prices, the future is farming as a co-op.

We are partnering with to bring the Commons to Houston, and we need YOUR help!

🌱We are searching for 50+ acres within 40 miles of downtown Houston to create a permanent, cooperative farm. Backed by a USDA grant, this project will become a hub for regenerative agriculture in our city.

Here’s how you can get involved:
🌱Share the news: Help us spread the word! We’re looking for a landowner who aligns with our values, and your shares bring us closer to finding the perfect site.

Join us on January 28th Tuesday from 6-8:30 pm at Equal Parts Brewing !
We will be hosting an Evening Market with PIF produce and community offerings for all to enjoy! and will be making vegan nachos, will be snapping pollaroids at their photo booth, will have some coffee & hot chocolate, FAM Houston will be selling honey & candles, and there will be several more community partners tabling and selling goods.

The aftermath of Hurricane Beryl has heavily affected our farms and farmer network. We share our positive thoughts and prayers to all who have struggled and might be still struggling in any way post-storm.

We here at PIF are in the midst of restoring our farm sites so our farmers can continue to provide fresh, seasonal organic produce to our underserved communities so we need YOUR help!
