So what is the best way to wake your pup if they are in a deep sleep or maybe they are hard of hearing?🐶👂
-Gentle Touch or Soft Petting
- Scent Stimulation
-Low, Soft Voice or Humming
-Lightly Move Their Bed or Blanket
-Gradually Increase Light Exposure
Another thing to remember is to respect their sleep cycles...
If you don’t need to wake them urgently, sometimes it’s best to let them sleep. Dogs, like humans, go through different stages of sleep, and disturbing them during a deep sleep can make them feel disoriented or cranky. Give them time to naturally cycle through lighter stages of sleep.
Now... if only Duff would sleep this soundly at night when his mom and dad need it the most! We love our old bud so much!
