If anyone is needing house sitting without pet sitting or pet sitting that will not include taking care of pet waste… I’m back and available starting mid November. Unfortunately, I cannot even change my own kitties litter for a while still due to my stem cell transplant recovery and ongoing treatment.

Please let me know if you are interested in any spots in the upcoming months if the above will apply.

If anyone knows of a flexible part time from home opening PLEASE let me know. I am in the works of hiring a disability attorney but will be out of funds very soon as I’ve been paying ten months worth of rent and utilities, car and health insurance plus credit card, food, gas, medical expenses and then my hospital bill… my go fund me is pretty much depleted and I am only earning by donations and a 6-8% of Amazon ambassador links that friends and family refer to me. I’m getting very nervous that a disability attorney will cost me but more so that I may be turned down again.
Friends with tips or tricks about working with this kind of attorney feel free to also send a pm.

I’m very sorry to post again but the last ten months have very costly and I at my new friendly asking point. If I can get to full remission I still have until my 100th day post transplant (thanksgiving) to be able to be out more in the world and then my six month point (valentines) to be able to get my newborn vaccines and more. When 7 months post transplant hits I can possibly go back to full time work outside the home if there’s no relapse or gvhd, etc.

But in the meantime send me allllll your pt wfh job ideas! Even better if you have an actual lead!

It’s STEM CELL TRANSPLANT DAY!
The day is finally here… all the chakra, blessings, prayers, juju, warm wishes, and happy thoughts welcomed!

So grateful for the 36 yr old man who was a match for my transplant and donated his stem cells… I hope to one day get to thank him personally, but for the next year he will be anonymous to me. I encourage all of you to join BeTheMatch.org and sign up to donate and save someone who is battling this ugly disease like me!

I’ll have to be in bed most of the day so I’ll try to check messages and things every so often…

I’ve always said this! I cannot stand balloon releases that do nothing but harm animals and the environment.
Please share for the less informed… 🎈

When you decide to release “in memory of" balloons, they don’t go where you hope and think they will. They usually end up in a field where livestock are. Often, young calves or goats will chew on/eat the balloons…

Ingesting plastic such as a trash bag or a balloon can cause intestinal blockage in animals. This may cause starvation. Some livestock may even choke on the balloon, causing a very painful death.

For wildlife and even PETS, they can become entangled in the balloon strings, causing them not to be able to move or even strangling them.

I understand the sentiment behind releasing balloons and the grief felt from losing a loved one. BUT there are so many other options!

- Plant a flower garden or make a rock garden in memory of a loved one.
- Plant a tree and watch it grow.
- Host an “In Memory” Celebration WITHOUT releasing balloons.
- Name a star.

Remember: releasing balloons may give you a moment of comfort, but somebody else may be hurt by the consequences.

EDIT TO ADD: This goes for trash bags as well. Please, don't dump out trash on the road side!

Hey everyone… looks like I’m on a specialty antibiotic via IV and I’ll be here until I’ve had all doses… sooo… a minimum of 7/10 or 7/11 before I can bust out. 👀

I can have visitors but just need a heads up and again, no children can visit. Bringing some sort of iced tea or slush or is also a requirement 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣🫶🏼

I believe I’m over the hump. My tongue isn’t swollen the size of my fist any longer and that is what I’m most thankful for 🙌🏼 I had actual food today for the first time since last Friday!

Once I go home it will only be a few days until I have my next bone marrow biopsy to see my blast count and if I can go back inpatient for 5-6+ weeks for my stem cell transplant… so as I’ve said before MDA is truly my home away from home right now.

A huge thank you to Michelle, Kate, & JR who have taken care of so many things for me while I’ve been here and during the last month of my progress and setbacks. Every little thing has counted and means so much to me!
Some people are truly angels on earth and come into your life for a divine reason.

Hi everyone! After a very eventful day at the hospital yesterday preparing for my upcoming multiple week inpatient stay for my stem cell transplant, today, I was given a list of needs and information for my stay.

I was able to update my Amazon wishlist with some soft snacks, drinks, types of toothbrush I’ll need, and more. Some of the list is for at the hospital and some is for home afterwards. They encourage you to bring your own pajamas, some decor, crafts and activities, snacks, some toiletries, and more. I can also have items dropped off at the main desk when I am there.

I plan to have a couple close friends helping with laundry and bringing me my mail, etc. I can have 2 adult visitors per day that can switch off in addition to one person who can be considered “caregiver” who can be with me daily but only one adult in the room at a time.

This all being said, I still need your support with my wishlist and go fund me. This has been the most trying time in my life and it pains me to ask for so much help. One day I hope to in some way return ”the favors”. Please share my links in hopes that I am able to stress less about the tangible and financial things and more about my healing and beating this ugly cancer. This transplant is my best shot. Layla looks so sweet…

Update: In a foster home! She is still available for adoption!

💔Layla’s owner passed away and no one wanted Layla. She’s now living in the shelter. Layla has the odds stacked against her. She’s 8 yrs old, listed as a bully mix breed, and there’s not many people adopting right now and even less offering to foster. This is why we are asking you to help. We need to get her photo seen and her story told. The more people that see her the better chance she has of finding a new family.

Visit and ask for Layla or apply online to schedule a meeting.

I got to see this lil guy on my visit to Ft. Worth this weekend and he’s recovering from an ugly seizure… my man Toby Tob Tob Tobins is getting quite elderly and needs our prayers to heal from this last overwhelming medical emergency. He’s a tired guy. I will love him always. ❤️

This is Mocha. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. She is being fostered right now but the women that has her travels a lot and can’t take care of her any more.
