Doggy Party on the Plaza is an annual event held at the CityCenter complex at 1-10 and Beltway 8 in the heart of Houston. In 2015 over 12,000 people with their doggys came and over 80 vendors participated in the day's events. In 2016, the event will be held on April 2, from Noon to 5:00pm and promises to be bigger and better. The event raises money for Houston Area Rescue Groups and creates awareness for the homeless animals of Houston.

Submit a photo of your pet (or with your pet(s), showing the bond you share. From kisses and hugs to kibbles and bits, we want to see your best representation of the shared love between pets and people.The winner will receive a $200 gift certificate (for services only) to our sponsor , plus the winning photo and finalists will be published in Houston PetTalk Magazine!

The contest entry period is February 1-14, and voting will take place from February 15-22. Public voting will choose the FINALISTS and the final First Prize selection will be made by a panel of judges from Bingle Vet. No stock images please. Entry is consent to use your photo in print or digital format and to sign up for our bi-monthly newsletter, which you may unsubscribe at anytime. Please upload a photo that is at least 1MB so that if you are a finalist or winner, the photo will be high resolution for print. Include your name and your pet’s name.

Our Story

Doggy Party on the Plaza is a Family fun annual event (including the doggy) held at the CityCenter complex at 1-10 and Beltway 8 in the heart of Houston. Held the first Saturday of April each year, over 12,000 people with their doggys come to celebrate. The event includes over 80 vendors, contests, giveaways, prizes, games, food and the popular “Rescue Me!” parade. Each year the event continues to grow and become bigger and better. The event is a rescue benefit that raises money for Houston Area Rescue Groups and creates awareness for the homeless animals of Houston. It’s a party extravaganza...
