1️⃣ Interested in learning about training? We will have our Parrot Training Basics class October 12, 2024 @ 1:00PM right after our Care Basics class. The cost for the Training Basics class is $30. Seating is very limited. Reserve your seat now.

Classes will include a live demo but students are not allowed to bring their birds to class. If you would like to work with your bird in a private session, we will have openings after 2pm for private lessons at super affordable priced. However, you must have completed both the care and training classes to book the private lesson.

Blue-Throated Macaws are truly amazing parrots! While there are plenty in captivity, they are critically endangered in the wild, so conservation is an important topic for us.

We can feel pretty powerless to help when the problem is happening in another continent, but there ARE ways you and I can help from afar.

We recently sponsored a nest box to support the Nido Adoptivo "adopted nest" project (and plan to do so again). It is a project that The Bird Endowment and Asociación Civil Armonía have partnered on to research, build, and monitor artificial nest boxes for blue-throated macaws in their natural habitat. This effort has resulted in 105 chicks fledged in these boxes that otherwise would have not been possible.
