Houston Boxer Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit, all volunteer, total foster care (no kennel facility) organization. HBR is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, health, and re-homing of abused, abandoned, neglected, or surrendered boxers within the Houston Metroplex and beyond. No officer or volunteer of Houston Boxer Rescue is compensated for their services. Rescue is a commitment of the heart,

a labor of love. We are serious about changing the lives of boxers that come through our program. Our goal for the dogs we rescue is a loving and secure forever future in a home that has been vetted by an experienced volunteer. We strive to match the needs and character of a particular animal to the home environment of an approved adopter. Houston Boxer Rescue depends totally upon donations from like-minded, compassionate people. Cypress, Tx Nov 2-3. We will have a booth at Jersey Village FFA craft show to help raise money for Schnauzer Rescue of Texas. Our booth is #75. We will have SRT shirts and lots of bandanas and pup merchandise. Come out and see us. We may get lucky and some fosters will attend. Thank you to our supporters, donors, volunteers and everyone that came out and supported us at our annual Wine Walk. We had a great turn out and all proceeds go to helping save more Boxers.

Courtesy post..... Nash was found with an injured front leg when he was brought into Karnes County Humane Society. They did the best thing for him and amputated the leg, but you would never know. He gets around like he's always been like that. He is 4 years old and heartworm negative. He's great with other dogs and people. Pretty sure given the opportunity he will chase a cat. He loves being outside and going for walks. He does really well on a leash. Loves attention from ALL people especially if they pet and rub him!!! This is an Intervention Dog in action. This may look like a dog lying in a boys lap. It's so much more than that.
She alerted to high anxiety by nudging, Nikki was able to prevent Daniel from having a full blown meltdown from stimulation overload. This is a life changer for a family with a child who is Autistic.
🚫So reminder when you see them(Service Dogs) ignore them. They are always working even if you can't see it.
Quiet time is not optional it's necessary for neurodivergent individuals. 🤫
