I went to see our friends at Fur Babies Boutique & Nutrition and got Beau and Lucy a few new add-ins and a food to try. We believe in mixing things up to give them different nutrients and keep them from getting bored with their food. Would you want to eat the same thing for every meal every day? Probably not.

If you are in the Kingwood area drop by and see them. They have an entire wall of freezers full of frozen raw food, lightly cooked food, and supplements like goat milk, organ meat, and other nutritious toppers. It was heavenly!

Raw eggs are a fantastic source of high-quality protein and essential fatty acids that contribute to healthy skin and a shiny coat. They also contain a wealth of vitamins and minerals, including vitamins A, B, D, and E, as well as iron, selenium, and riboflavin. These nutrients support your pet’s immune system, support vision, and promote strong bones and teeth.

If you find raw eggs a bit risky, lightly cooking eggs can help reduce bacteria while preserving most of the nutritional benefits.

When it comes to choosing the right egg, it’s important to consider the size and caloric needs of your dog:

🪺 Quail eggs: Approximately 14 calories each. Perfect for small dogs or as a treat for medium and large dogs.

🪺 Chicken eggs: Approximately 70 calories each. Suitable for medium to large dogs or split for small dogs.

🪺 Duck eggs: Approximately 130 calories each. Ideal for large dogs or split for medium dogs.

When Beau decides to make an appearance at work, he wears many hats including supervising Aunt Jane as she unboxes shipments. This particular box includes some customer favorites, new toys, and some new holiday toys. Can you tell which ones are new? Did you spot one of the holiday toys?

Beau could not wait to paint his canvas! What do you think? Should his painting be displayed in the Louvre Museum? Join us on September 28th for Neighborhood Pet Store Day from 10:00 to 12:00 and your pup can paint too! Supplies provided, but they are limited!
