Dr. McIntyre,

Congratulations on your upcoming retirement on December 12, 2024! We want to express our deepest gratitude for your 40 years of care and compassion that you have provided to the families and pets in our community. You have made a lasting impact on, not only our pets’ lives, but on our own lives as well.

Crossroads Animal Clinic opened its doors on November 4, 1994, in a small 2000 sq ft lease space at the corner of Highway 6 and FM 529. This was a dream come true for Dr. McIntyre. She always wanted to have her own practice. She was also 7 months pregnant with her second child! Thanks to the unparalleled support and loyalty of her clients, she was able to build the beautiful clinic that exists today. CRAC is an award winning 8700 square foot clinic that honors the bond between her clients and their pets.

Please join us in our appreciation of Dr. McIntyre’s tireless dedication to her patients and their families, her unwavering professionalism and integrity and her endless compassion for pets and the people who love them.

Please take a moment to wish her well, share a fond memory and give her a virtual hug. Or better yet, stop by the clinic to visit and give her a REAL hug! She deeply appreciates the support, trust and loyalty that you have shown her over the years. She will miss you dearly.

Howdy everyone!
Meet Penelope (previously known as Dahlia), a 6 month old spayed female Border Collie mix. She has survived pneumonia thanks to Critical Care at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists and recently had her left eye removed due to an injury as a puppy. Neither of these problems have slowed her down at all! She is now a happy, healthy energetic pup looking for her forever home. She is currently in a foster home after recovering at Crossroads Animal Clinic and available for adoption through Gram Rescue Ranch. Please consider welcoming this amazing dog into your family.
