Our sweet one legged cockatiel Goofy♡ Many have seen goofy but more have heard his singing! Over the years he has learned Addams Family and the Andy Griffith, and the oh so famous pretty bird whistle. I worked with him for a couple minutes, his breathing is still pretty heavy but this is the best I've seen him since the accident! In this video he tried to pretty bird whistle back at me only twice. Both times he couldn't get all the way through (you can definitely tell which is me and which is him if you watch it two or three times) but we are so proud of him for trying ♡ We believe he might have bruised his lungs and suffered some amount of head trauma (you can see in the picture where he is missing feathers in the back). We will continue to work with him and watch his progress. So greatful he made it through the accident and is still with us today! Ps. Goofy did not lose his leg in the accident, he was brought to us one of a kind!
