Scruffing may have once been common, but ๐ฌ๐œ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž and ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐š๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง have shown us better ways. Grabbing a cat by the scruff can cause ๐ฉ๐š๐ข๐ง, spike ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ก๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐ž๐ฌ, and even lead to ๐ฅ๐จ๐ง๐ -๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ฆ ๐๐š๐ฆ๐š๐ ๐ž, especially in adult cats. It can increase ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐จ๐œ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐š๐ซ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž, compress ๐œ๐ž๐ซ๐ฏ๐ข๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐ง๐ž๐ซ๐ฏ๐ž๐ฌ, and trigger the brainโ€™s ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐ณ๐ž ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ž.
