Thanks to Petfinder Foundation and the 2024 Kia Pet Adoption Grant we are able to waive adoption fees on our longest residents and reduce the adoption fee on newer furbabies for the time being. Our longest fosters are Rocky and Shadow, they were rescued from euthanasia at the county shelter a week before Christmas 2022. They are both great dogs, patiently waiting for their forever homes. Toffee needs additional surgeries on two legs. We took her for consultation and have to do one at a time. The estimates attached are for both, one each. I am here pleading for help. She is a very sweet loving girl and wants to play all the time, so it is heartbreaking having to restrict her mobility to not further injure herself. Thanks to Rocky Kanaka posting Trisha's story far and wide she is now on her way to her forever home. We want to give special Thanks to her amazing foster mom, that has gone above and beyond for Trisha and is currently taking her on a cross country road trip to her forever home.

I know there are a lot of people out there like me that love pets and support dog and cat rescue. That's why I am pouring my heart and soul into this channel...

ADOPT TRISHA, a resilient and beautiful dog who has triumphed over a challenging past filled with neglect and abuse. After a daring rescue that involved a shelter staff member hiding her to save her from euthanasia, Trisha was welcomed by Greenawalds Service Rescue. With months of medical care and rest, she overcame her injuries and infections, blossoming in a foster home in Austin, TX. Now, Trisha is ready to find her forever family.

In her foster home, Trisha has shown how wonderful and loving she truly is. She enjoys visiting the dog park, making new friends, and showing her playful side. Although she experiences some separation anxiety, the companionship of her foster brother has been a great comfort. Trisha's journey is one of courage and transformation, and she is now looking for a loving home where she can continue to thrive and share her abundant love.

From this to that, 575 days waiting for a forever family.
Shadow (formerly known as Bullwinkle A596893) is STILL looking for a forever home. He was rescued from the shelter euthanasia list just before Christmas 2022 after being there for 126 days, and he was not even a year old yet.
He is a sweet, loving, playful boy, who is smart and highly food/treat motivated. He knows basic commands including sit, down, stay and roll over for belly rubs. Shadow also enjoys hugs and kisses.
Shadow is an energetic young boy that likes to wrestle with foster brothers, play tug-o-war and fetch(ish) 😄with the people, and will go to his place when told without a fuss. He is kennel trained and fully vetted neutered and chipped.
As you can see, he has filled out nicely in the 449 days he has been with us, and has earned an affectionate nickname "pork-chop"😂
This young sweetie has been waiting patiently for 575 days for a family to take him home.

Well, it's puppy season again and the weather is warming up for outdoor events. We still also have long term fosters ready to go, patiently waiting for a forever home (Trisha, Shadow, Rocky) and some medical cases that need more help before being adoptable. We've added a few pics below.
We got a foster boarding building last summer and it's time for upgrades and improvements with their play and exercise yard also, so we put together an Amazon wish-list https://a.co/b6ZDWv6 of items that will help us make this season the best it can be for these furbabies and many more. Rocky is STILL looking for his forever home and we cannot understand why. He is a perfect LOVEBUG!! Rocky was rescued from the shelter euthanasia list a week before Christmas 2022 and he was not even a year old yet. Rocky is an extremely affectionate boy and LOVES HUGS. He knows some basic command and is kennel trained but is not much for playing games or with toys. His happy place is in your lap hugging. He likes other dogs and people of all ages. Rocky is a little goofy and likes to sunbathe on a table in the backyard. When he was learning "heel" he took that lesson literally and actually wraps his paws around your ankle, so his quirk is,,,, you have to watch your steps when walking away from him because he may grab your ankle from behind.

These two cuties are almost 8 weeks old now and ready to find a forever home. They have started their puppy vetting, are almost potty trained already, and know how to use the doggie door. Keep your furry family members inside in a safe place. Especially at night for the next few weeks when people are shooting guns and setting off fireworks. This is extremely scary for them and they will do anything to escape and run as far as they can. You will not find your guy/gal again and they will end up dead or in a shelter outside of your range of search and again ultimately dead.

Pet owners...... The fireworks and gunshots started earlier this evening and will probably not stop for the next 3 weeks. PLEASE keep you...
