🎂 Asha, like so many other dogs in rescue is celebrating her first birthday in her foster home. We always want birthdays to be happy but sometimes they are a reminder of what we do not have.

Asha was born in a cold, dirty warehouse and her momma fought so hard to make sure her babies survived long enough to be rescued. As a little puppy her chances of adoption dwindled each month and now she is an adult. 😩

This chunky monkey weighs 81 lbs!

Today was Slater's annual vet visit and he's been told to drop some lbs. He should be a svelte 60 - 65 lbs.
