I’m sure you’ve all seen or heard about this virus on the news. Take a minute to read this. I have not heard of any local cases and have no reason to think there’s a reason to panic. Obviously if your dog is showing any signs of sickness please do not bring them for their grooming appointment. And likewise if I feel like there has been exposure I will be transparent with you. That’s the beauty of one on one grooming!

Read the latest release from the PA Department of Agriculture about the recent spate of respiratory illness in dogs, and view helpful guidelines for veterinarians to share with pet owners with information from an AVMA press release crafted in part by PVMA member George Melillo. Also included is a technical bulletin (originally published by Zoetis in 2017) with general information about Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease (CIRD).
