Hours This Week: Reba and Mary are covering for Nick while he is at the Harp in Worship Conference in Fort Collins. We are at the shop daily from 9:30 - 12:30 (Central Time) now through July 15. Harp Teachers Gathering Zoom Meeting: Thursday, June 12 at 3p CENTRAL. Teaching to the very young with Rebecca Todaro. The zoom registration will be in the comments. Rebecca is a professional harpist living in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who began her harp studies at the age of 9 with Elizabeth Roth in Charlotte, N.C. Earning both a bachelor and master of music degrees at LSU gave her a chance to study with Hye Yun Chung and Ann Benjamin. Post graduate study and master classes with Susann McDonald, Isabelle Moretti, Marcella DeCray and Kathleen Bride further enriched Rebecca’s musical influences. Having maintained a private teaching studio since 1989, sharing a love of the harp and its music with students of all ages has been a priority throughout Rebecca’s career. This month's emphasis is on teaching very young students.

Loads of harps - it seems that Nick has become the Texas harp repair guy. Here is a 12 when it came in, with strings removed, and now being restrung. The wood is from 1920 and has a rich sound. The soundboard is not pulled up, the column is straight. This will be a really nice gem for some lucky person.
