Did you know pets can have allergic reactions just like us? 🤧 While some reactions may cause mild symptoms like itching or sneezing, others can cause extreme symptoms including facial swelling and anaphylaxis 🙀

It is very important to keep a close eye on your pets when exploring outside or in new places 🐝 ! If your pet starts showing symptoms of an allergic reaction, you should seek veterinary care as soon as possible before symptoms worsen!

‼️Symptoms can include, but are not limited to: Itching, sneezing, hives, red or watery eyes, vomiting, diarrhea, facial swelling, and difficulty breathing.‼️

If you're planning on neutering your dog, below are some important rules to follow during their 10-14 day post-operative recovery period:

No rigorous physical activity like running off leash or jumping in cars or on furniture. Carry pets up and down the stairs, this minimizes tension on their incision 🪡

Keep the incision and surgery site dry for 14 days. So, no swimming or bathing. This allows the skin to heal and avoids re-opening the incision 🏊‍♂️

Keep your pet from licking, scratching, or similarly irritating the incision. This means keeping that cone or recovery suit on during the entire recovery period! This prevents post-operative infection 😋
