Today, we want to recognize a few incredible veterans who open their homes and hearts to animals at RPM:
Martin (Air Force, 34 years) – Martin has fostered with RPM for the past 4 years. He provides a loving home to every dog he fosters and even built a catio for his long-term feline foster to enjoy the sunshine.
Liliana (Air Force, 24 years) – Liliana has 5 years of RPM fostering under her belt. She has cared for hundreds of kittens, noting that each one is unique and brings her joy. She has also taken on medical fosters, providing TLC and a second chance at life for each one.
Grant (Army) – It brings Grant joy to be able to have a small part in giving RPM dogs a real chance at a happy life. Grant and his wife have a selective dog (their own foster "fail"), so they cannot foster as much as they would like to, but Grant always jumps in to help however he can. He absolutely fell in love with Scout (RPM foster in pic) and remembers him fondly.
Eric (Army) – Since July 2024, Eric and his family have fostered around 30 dogs, along with their own 3 foster “fails”! He even built a backyard doggie run for safe play! His patience and love make every foster feel at home.
We know there are many more veteran fosters in our community, and we deeply appreciate your dedication and commitment. Thank you for your service and for sharing your homes with our animals. ❤️🐶🐱
