If I have significantly less hair the next time y'all see me, BLAME HER!
I had been working in the colubrid room most of the day. I was just finishing up my last task, which was refreshing her water. Literally the last task of the night, and I had also gotten the room all nice and organized and put together. This girl, this BRAT, decided to do something she's never done before and darted out the door of her enclosure. Within 60 seconds she was completely gone. I swore it was like watching a dinosaur despawn in ARK. It took 20 hours to find her. I never went to bed that night, and didn't find her until almost 3pm the next day. She'd darted out the door, which is normally not even open, and escaped into the main basement area. 40 hours without sleep, but I did find her, and was promptly thanked with several spicy kisses. She's lucky I love her so dang much.
(Seriously though, this happened Sunday/Monday and I took the day off work to look for her. I was an absolute wreck. This is a sensitive species and while the colubrid room is fully finished, the rest of the basement is not. It is too cold, dry, and offers way too many places to hide/escape into the walls. I've been brain dead the rest of the week.)

Not sure what to think about this little one. That horizontal line intrigues me. I've seen it before on other snakes, but not quite so dramatic as this.

Okay, I know I take forever to post photos, but I've been a liiiiiiiiiiitle busy.😅
So here is a photo dump from Tinley with the new snakes we brought home. I have a ton of photos of the kingsnakes because I'm obsessed, particularly the male because the female was starting to go into shed, but I kept myself limited to only two photos each. lol

I definitely have some Tinley pickups to share, but my time off is limited, so I'm working on getting some stuff done first. Starting with this teardown so it can be revamped for my big gonyosoma girl, Liraeth. She's due for an upgrade!

Okay, I give up. I don't know what's happening anymore. I went down to take the press n seal off the hatch tub since the babies were due to start pipping next week and they've all been early. I found three stinking heads poking out already!
You guys are almost a week early, what the heck?! I barely got to enjoy the hatch cam this year. 😂🥲😭

I seriously thought I posted this already, but FB just...deleted it?
Anyway, I recently got some updated photos of my collection since many of them haven't changed since I first got the animals, some of the photos are even when they were juveniles. A lot of people have been checking out my NFS collection on MM lately, and several have been curious over what the snakes look like now, so I'll be updating that database. If you're not already aware, there is a section on my MM page where you can go and see all of my snakes, including breeders, holdbacks, and future breeders!

Lizard cam is back up! The baby BPs have fully shed and will now be separated into their own spaces, so the lizard cam returns and apparently, the little dude missed being the center of attention.
He's being an absolute menace today. 😂
