We were VERY proud sponsors of a mt Vernon spring ball league softball team this year. Definitely wasn’t expecting a gift at conclusion of the season but this past weekend, a parent brought this beautiful plaque to us!! Thank you Katie Hill for such a generous & thoughtful gift!!

These sweet kiddos stopped by the kennel today to invite us to the jr fair market sale. Dressed up in show clothes & all. They know their projects & have obviously done the work. These kiddos are perfect examples of future leaders! Please stop out & support these kids & all the other hardworking kids at the market sale this year! Sale starts at 830 am Friday July 25th at the Knox co fair.

Clyde. What a dog. What a life he lived. A grouse & pheasant hunter in his younger years to a fantastic easygoing sweet natured old man in retirement. We were honored to have cared for him from time to time. Clyde passed away peacefully in his sleep last night. He will be so missed by his family, please keep them in your thoughts.
Rest easy Clyde, I hope your fields are always full of grouse buddy♥️ and the sun is always shining, enjoy all the scratches coming your way!
