Prince is still looking for his castle! Currently located in Howell, NJ.

One year old neutered male rabbit in search of his forever home. Prince is a very silly, active rabbit and would love to find a family that will treat him like royalty! He has been in a foster home with kids, so he would be okay with a family with children (supervised of course). He is litter box trained. He would probably do well with bonding to another rabbit.

Wicket is my dog- he has been with our family for 10 years now and is about 14 years old. He has a crazy undercoat that needs to be brushed out a few times a month. He has some back and mobility issues so we take quite a lot of breaks during his grooming- and he sits or lays down on the ground and is never tethered, since he has a history of neck issues.

I do not claim to be a professional groomer- and am still learning, but I am always up for a good brushing session. It took about 3 hours to get Wicket all cleaned up, with a few breaks along the way. Keeping dogs coats clean and dematting is very important to keep them happy and comfortable!

Through my grooming services I offer nail trims, nail dremeling, brushing/dematting, and medical grade shave/sanitary clipping. Please contact me for pricing and availability!

Little Dave came over for a spa day! This adorable little hamster was adopted from Small n Furry Rescue and comes by for nail trims every few months. Did you know that dwarf hamsters do need their nails trimmed once in a while? Especially as they get older, it is important to monitor the growth of your small pet’s nails. They can get quite long and sometimes will get stuck while they are climbing and can cause injuries.

I am now offering nail trims/filing and dremel for all pets (dogs, cats, and exotic companion animals). To schedule an appointment please send me a message. Owners can either bring their pet to me in Howell, NJ or book a housecall appointment (additional travel fee applied). All proceeds of grooming services will go back to the care of animals residing with my exotic companion animal rescue.

Welcome to my page! Small n Furry Creature Care LLC is a brand new exotic companion animal care business. I will be offering small pet boarding, grooming, in home pet sitting, and husbandry/care consultations. I am based out of Howell, NJ and will be servicing clients within a 15 mile radius for pet sitting at this time.

A little about me-

My name is Madeline and I have been an exotic companion animal owner and advocate for over 15 years. My passion for these unique pets has led me to my career in veterinary medicine as a veterinary technician. I have spent most of my life rescuing animals, from rabbits to chameleons, I work with them all! Three years ago I established an exotic companion animal rescue, Small n Furry Rescue. Within the last three years I've placed over 500 animals into loving forever homes. My goal with this new business is to work with people in the local community to help ensure that they are able to provide the best care to their exotic pets.

Current services I provide:
In home pet sitting
Veterinary technician house calls (medication/fluid administration under guidance of veterinarian, behavior consultations)
Nail trims/grooming for small mammals (cats and dogs on a case by case basis), and reptiles
Husbandry/care consultation

I am working on renovating a space to offer boarding services for small mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians. I will also be offering bonding services for small mammals. If you are interested in learning more about the services that I will be offering, please send me a message.
