Something is a little off with our latest herding prospect but I can't quite put my finger on it....🤣

When we are herding with our dogs, one of the first things we need to teach them is that when we raise the stock stick, they need to stop.

This is my daughter Stella (10) with her dog Ella, practicing "dry" stick work (no livestock in the arena with them).

This will help them immensely when they are ON stock learning how to work together as a team and is great "homework" between lessons for those that do not have livestock at home!

These guys heard there is a "feed livestock" part of the Farm Dog Certification Event and they are ready to do their part at our practice this morning! 😆
