Calving Ease Red Balancer with impeccable phenotype and very sound structured. This bull is a heifer bull that scanned with over a 16 inch ribeye and 4.7% IMF. He is out of a great cow family and his dam ranks as one of the top udders on our ranch. Many more red balancers like this on the sale.

Sound structured, deep bodied, exceptional feet, AND great longevity in the whole cow family. His dam is 8 years old and still active, Granddam 10 years old, Great Granddam 12, Great Great Granddam 14, and Great Great Great Granddam 13 years old. It takes a little shot of Gelbvieh to get longevity like this. He scanned with over a 17 inch ribeye and 4.5% IMF. This bull has jumped through every hurdle we have asked of him.
His 8 year old Dam of Merit cow has a weaning ratio of 110. She is moderate in her cow size, has a great udder, and weaned this stud off at 51.4% of her body weight.

He is out of a Dam of Merit cow that has produced several Females and every daughter is working in our program. Her first calf, 706, is a Donor for Rippe Gelbvieh. 5402C has a nursing ratio of 112 on 5 calves.
Protégé was purchased with Thorstenson Gelbvieh from Gustin Diamond D Gelbvieh and we haven’t sold any semen on him. He goes back to the famous Mandy 32S cow. He adds Performance, sound structure, and great feet to all of his offspring.

BALANCER HERDBULL ALERT
Lot 48 is a very unique specimen. He ranks in the top 4% for Calving Ease, top 1% for Weaning Weight, top 10% for Marbling, and top 1% for Feeder Profit Index. He is the 11th highest Balancer bull for Feeder Profit index born in 2021.
His Donor Dam’s first bull is working in Chimney Butte’s program. She has a BW ratio of 87 and a WW ratio of 106. She is an elite cow that goes back to the great Donor L643, who is the mother of the AI bull Sam.
His sire, Exponential, was Knoll Crest Farms, high selling bull and was purchased by ST Genetics. This is his first set of Balancer calves born. His sons had a weaning weight ratio of 108 and IMF ratio of 107.
