Adoption Policy and Procedure:
All potential adopters must complete an application for each pup they are interested in. Failure to be thorough will resu

lt in denial. Adopters are required to have ALL pets up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and on heartworm/flea preventative. We conduct vet checks, phone screens, meet and greets, and a home visit for the final step. All steps are completed in this order.

So many of you were moved by the story of Alice ❤️ so we thought we should give you an update! You can already see the transition happening in her eyes!

For those who don't remember her story, here is a little about her.

This beautiful girl has a story and while we don't know all of the details, here is what we know.

😭 Her eyes and body told the story.

Alice is a young momma who has likely been very over bred. Alice has some severe lacerations on her side and paw and found herself dumped- just minutes away from the unthinkable (not exaggerating here, the paperwork was already completed) when we received the call for help.

This girl's eyes pierce through your soul and you can see how appreciative she is of the love she has already received. Just like every one of our sweet souls, Alice has been surrounded by a team of volunteers and the very best care.

Ever wonder how many people it takes to rescue a dog?

Well, this girl's entry to rescue has taken at least 8 volunteers/advocates already. A vet who cared enough to call, 2 transport volunteers, someone to scan her abdomen and bandage her wounds, someone to hold her while she was being taken care of, A vet who chose to partner with rescue and an amazing foster.

YOU have also played a huge role in rescue.

Those numbers don't include the love and contributions from our extended family. Without you all not only would we not be able to take care of these deserving pups BUT without you sharing our message ... people in these situations won't know who to call.

Welcome Alice to the arms of rescue 🛟 , it looks so good on you!

Welcome to the first “FOREVER FAMILY FRIDAY” of 2025 🎉

Each week, we will introduce you to a few of the beautiful and deserving faces who are waiting for their forever families!

Today, let’s take a second to talk about our boy, “Bo”!

Bo came into rescue when he was just a few weeks old. The odds were stacked against him and his owners were faced with an unthinkable decision. Instead, Bo entered the arms of rescue where not only is he surviving - he is thriving. He is now 8 months old and while he may have some special needs, we choose to say that he is just special! Bo has a way of knowing how to help new dogs find their way and their confidence plus has the ability to soothe the souls of humans. He never gave up on us, so we will never give up on him finding his Happily Ever After.

🆘 We need your help! 🆘

Our new years resoluntion is to get this gorgeous girl the forever family that she deserves and that's gonna take a little help from our friends (aka, YOU) .

Lady McQueen is a 4 1/2 year old exotic bulldog who may not be a textbook “princess” but she is definitely giving off MAIN CHARACTER ENERGY!

Lady McQueen has had quite a story of being let down by humans. It’s time that we show her that - no matter what the trials are in the first part of the book - the triumph is in the second part of the story!

McQueen was adopted around this time last year only to be found dumped again in a shelter less than one year later.

Not only did Lady McQueen come into rescue brokenhearted, but she also needed to start a wellness journey (you can read more about that in her bio) after gaining a staggering 30 pounds.

Through everything (even a doggy diet), McQueen has shown us that she is resilient, outgoing, and an amazingly lovable companion.

McQueen is always down for an adventure and is ready to write her next -happier -chapters in the perfect forever 🏠.

My name is Lulu, and I’m a fabulously fluffy 2-year-old English Bulldog, looking for a cozy place to call my forever home! I’m house trained (no potty parties in the house for me!) and crate trained, which means I’m the best roommate you could ask for—except when you forget to pet me, then I might throw a tiny, adorable tantrum. Just a heads up!

I’m a social butterfly who thrives on attention (it's what I live for, darling!), and I get along fabulously with my fellow canine companions. Toys? Oh, I adore them! Squeaky, bouncy, fluffy – I’m here for all the playtime fun!

Now, let me tell you about my absolute favorite activity: CAR RIDES! 🚗❤️ If you so much as step near that magical vehicle, I’ll bounce off the walls with excitement, trying my hardest to scale the mountains of your shoulders (or, you know, hop onto your head for a better view!). Trust me, I’m a world-class snuggler and your new best copilot for all those shopping adventures.

I'm a very smart girl who listens well! When my amazing foster parent tells me “no,” I take it like a champ—mostly because I’m just too busy finding a new way to get attention from you!

You have been asking for it so, here is the Alice Update :)

You may remember Alice, the sweet bulldog abandoned and dumped with wounds and a broken heart.

Well, this beautiful girl has now been completely vetted and is receiving more love than she ever knew was possible.

You can see it in her eyes, the fear from day one is gone and it is being replaced by confidence!

She will be ready for her forever family soon.

In the meantime, keep your love and thoughts coming her way - she is feeling them all and this whole "being loved" thing is really starting to grow on her!

Just when you think it's safe to watch the bengals game and have a nice cozy night at home, the dogs have other plans.

Please welcome DOLCE to the arms of rescue.

Dolce is a 9 1/2 week old frenchie baby that is having problems with vomiting and going to the bathroom. She was very dehydrated and regurging everything that she ate and only 4.25lbs when she got here.

This baby girl all situated for the night.

She got meds, fluids and 2 tsp of recovery food and some electrolyte water.

She is now sleeping safe and sound in the incubator at 82 degrees, with her heartbeat baby frenchie provided by a supporter through our Amazon wish list.

Thank you all so much for all the supplies you send us, they all get used and are so very much appreciated.

Time to help Dolce go from rescued to Forever ❤️

Woof! I’m Thor, the majestic 33.6 lbs of pure cuteness (and I'm not just talking about my muscles)! At 2 1/2 years young, I’ve mastered the art of mooching pets from humans – it’s basically a full-time job for me!

I admit, when I first came into rescue, I was as shy as a squirrel in a thunderstorm. But now? I’m the life of the paw-ty! I've traded my timid ways for epic play sessions and a passionate love for squeaky toys! Other dogs? Love them! Cats? Well, let’s just say I haven’t had the pleasure yet—maybe they’re just too fast for me? 🐱💨

If you're looking for a goofy, sweet cuddle buddy who absolutely thrives on attention, I’m your guy! So, if you see me, don't be shy—come give Thor some love!

Are you ready to start 2025 with a bang? Izzy is a 64-pound, sweetheart who’s ready to help you crush your goals for the year ahead! With her moderate activity level, she’ll happily join you on those “new year, new me” walks, followed by plenty of couch time as you catch up on your favorite shows.

What’s Izzy’s deal?
Diet: She’s on hydrolyzed Royal Canin, so she’s got her nutrition game down pat.
Pets: Dogs of any size? Yes, please! Cats? Hard pass.
Training: Crate trained, house trained, and always ready to learn—just set some clear boundaries, and she’ll stay on track!
Kids: Older kiddos are her vibe. Small kids haven’t been tested, but this curious girl can be a bit of a freight train with her enthusiasm.
