🐷 Help Nala and Mabel Get Spayed 💕

Our sweet Nala has come such a long way. She was rescued from a m**h house, addicted to m**h, terrified, and in rough shape — but with love, care, and time, she’s made an incredible recovery. 💪 Now, Nala is finally healthy enough to be spayed and start the next chapter of her happy, safe life.

She’ll be returning to our rescue soon, along with her best friend and bonded buddy, Mabel. These two girls have been through so much together, and we’re determined to keep them side by side where they belong. ❤️

Both Nala and Mabel need to be spayed, and the total cost for their procedures is $900. It’s a small price to pay for their comfort, health, and the promise of a peaceful, forever friendship.

🐷 Bedtime Blues at Piggies by the Sea! 🐷

As the weather cools down, more of our piggies are heading indoors to stay warm and cozy. Unfortunately, most of last year’s beds have been well-loved (aka destroyed by happy snouts and wiggly butts 🐽💤), and we don’t have enough to go around!

We’re asking for help to restock large, comfy beds so every pig can have a warm place to snuggle this winter. 💕

💔 A Heartbreaking Update About Tay 💔

We have spoken with Rollins Laboratory, who performed Tay’s necropsy, and they confirmed that he passed away from a sudden cardiac arrest. One moment he was perfectly fine, and the next he was gone — leaving us all in shock and heartbreak.

It will be 4 to 6 weeks before we receive the full report to know whether it was congenital or if there were any other underlying causes.

They are thankfully able to perform a cremation so that we can bring Tay home, where he belongs. However, we will need help covering the cost of this.

💔 We are so heartbroken to share this…
This evening, our sweet Tay passed away suddenly. One moment he was perfectly fine—happy, hungry, and full of life—and the next, he was gone. 💔
Our vet believes it may have been an aneurysm, som**hing that can strike without warning, but we will be getting a necropsy to know for sure. It all happened so fast, with no warning at all.
Tay wasn’t just special to us here at Piggies by the Sea — he touched so many hearts in our community. Whether it was his gentle nature, or the way he connected with people during visits and events, Tay had a way of making everyone smile. 💕
We are in shock and absolutely devastated by his loss. There will never be another quite like him.
Run free, sweet Tay. You were deeply loved by so many, and your memory will always live on in our hearts and in the love you shared with this community. 🐷🌈

🌸🐷 Calliope’s Comeback Update! 🐷🌸

Our sweet Calliope is doing so amazing! 💪 She’s standing tall, walking more every day, and rushing over for food like the little powerhouse she is! 🥰 Her legs are getting stronger, and besides a tiny limp, she’s almost completely back to normal!

We’re so proud of her progress — every waddle, stretch, and happy snort shows just how determined this girl is. 💖

RESCUE AWARD

Every few months, when funds and time, allow, I create a beautiful stained glass piece, and donate it to a local rescue. Last time, I created a cute stained glass halloween kitty for one of my favorite cat rescue teams to raffle off! They should be raffling it off this month, so once they make a posting for it, I'll share it here on my timeline for anyone interested. Operation Topcat
