So amazing to come home from vacation to these previously-free-loading hens laying consistently again!! We've been back-ordered for two months now, so I can finally catch everyone back up & restock my own fridge for a change!! 🙌

& Toulouse the Guard Goose has now laid 13 eggs this winter - even after laying ~30 in the spring, which is a TON for a French Toulouse! ❤️

Every weekend, I wash the week's worth of dirty or deformed eggs & stash them away in the fridge for the family. I'm always so impressed by the color variety, because they're so much more vibrant when wet! ❤️

(Side note: I wish I knew which hen laid that gray egg on the far left! I assumed it was a bloom & the egg would turn green after being washed, but it didn't! Super odd! 🤔)

Good news! I will be switching over to the reusable 15ct egg cartons for all customers who pick up from mine & my parent's houses, with NO need to purchase the container beforehand, just bring it back/switch it out at every refill! ❤️

(The 12ct cardboard cartons will now be exclusively used for festivals/markets.)
