Animal Enthusiasts!
Coastal Carolina Community College in Eastern Nc is offering animal care classes in the Spring! These courses are for continuing education credit hours and are great for current animal owners, hobby farm owners, veterinary assistants, veterinary technicians, wildlife rehabbers, zookeepers, or anyone who is looking to take care of an animal in a personal or professional setting in the future. The courses being offered in the Spring are:
Animal Agriculture (Online): $71, 24 credit hours ***January 6th- March 2nd***
Avian Care (In Person and Online): $71, 24 credit hours ***March 3rd-Apri 21st***(Mondays 6-9pm)/////***March 10th-May 4th*** (Online)
Exotic Animal Care: $71, 24 credit hours ***January 8th-February 26th(Wednesdays 6-9pm)
Reptile Care (Online): $126, 48 credit hours ***January 6th-April 27th***
Small Animal Care: $126, 48 credit hours ***January 7th-April 22nd***(Tuesdays 6-9pm)
Veterinary Assistant: $196, 144 credit hours ***January 14th-April 29th(Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 6-9pm)
Wildlife Rehab: $71, 24 credit hours ***April 5th-May 10th*** (Saturdays 9am-1pm)
Zoo Horticulture: $71, 24 credit hours ***January 9th- February 27th (Thursdays; First classes at CCCC 6-9pm, rest at Lynnwood Park Zoo 1-4pm)
Classes can be taken as stand-alone courses or, for those interested in achieving their Veterinary Office Assistant certification, core classes must be taken in any order (Veterinary Assistant, Small Animal Care, Reptile Care, Animal Agriculture, and Exotics).
