Happy Valentines Day! This is Asparagus or Gus. He’s one of our employees pets. He’s a part time model, and matchmaker. He gets paid in treats, and love. His confidence is unmatched. ❤️ Make sure you show us your babies today on this love-ly day.

Also please remember chocolate is for humans, not for pets. They deserve treats too, just never the toxic ones. 🚫

This is Bea. Her owner brought her in as an emergency telling us she didn’t feel well. This girl came in all excited to see us, and acted like nothing happened, showing no symptoms. She just needed to see her friends here at 1-20 Animal Hospital. We gave her all kinds of love, pets, and even a cute sweater that matched her cute personality. Even cute puppies sometimes needs extra attention to make them feel better. 🤍

💖 This Valentine’s Day, show your pet some extra love while keeping them safe – and help keep other pets safe by sharing this post!

Here are a few Valentine’s pet safety tips to keep in mind:

-Keep chocolate, candy, and treats with xylitol far out of reach—they’re toxic to pets!
-Watch out for flowers like lilies, which are especially dangerous for cats.
-Be mindful of lit candles and decorations that curious paws might knock over.
-Secure ribbons, strings, and wrappers to avoid accidental ingestion.

Wishing you and your pets a safe and sweet Valentine’s Day!

This is Trigger. He’s the handsomest boy with a good demeanour for the bit of bad luck he’s had this month. His front legs got ran over by a car, and he’s been coming in for bandage changes on both legs. Yesterday he got to have one leg freed. His family has been taking amazing care of him, and he’s such a happy boy. 🖤

This is Tula. She’s a pretty little American Staffordshire Terrier who ate some bird seed. She ended up having an upset stomach that required her going home with some metronidazole. She was super sweet and gave all the lovins.
