Never comfortable to not know what will happen. Having to keep my horses out in the open is unsettling especially with so many trees and supplies around. My husband and I closed off the perimeter fencing and moved my stallion Trooper to a slightly larger area that is a lot more dry. Gave whole bales of hay each. Wrote number and address on them. And prayed over them! Lets hope its the Lords will to protect all of us and everyone else in harms way a

Didn’t know it was going to be a low 34 degrees until I saw a Facebook post! 2:30am is a wild time to put a blanket on Trooper for the first time but he handled it like a champ! 🙏🏼💙

Trooper took another saddle strapping like a champ and even climbed on the mount and leaned on him and bounced some weight and he didn’t react. :) He still gets spooked sometimes with the lounge whip if I’m quick towards him with it, but still good with it otherwise when I go slower.
