On 06/15/2024 around 2:45pm this brown and white dog escaped from its owner's vehicle in the Sams Club parking lot. A couple in a black Chevy Silverado can be seen capturing the dog and leaving the parking lot. If anyone had any information on the location of the dog, please contact Ofc. Missing in Merrimack NH – “Milo” is a male Pit Bull Mix, light brown, 10 months, 36 pounds. He is wearing a blue collar with tag and he is microchipped. Milo is a shy new adoption – Do Not Chase! So far we have raised just over $2000 for ! The weather could not have been more beautiful for training! I was able to complete 95 miles over the course of 3 days! This puts me right on target for the upcoming Erie Canal Tour in July. This weekend I explored the rail trail connecting Manchester, Goffstown and New Boston. I was able to ride from the Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester, to the 4-H Fairgrounds in New Boston! Thank you to everyone for supporting GSDR! 🐾❤🐾

ATTENTION BOXER LOVERS

Granite State Dog Recovery has recently taken in 10 Boxer dogs as an emergency owner surrender into our shelter program. These babies are between the ages of 6 months and 3 to 4 years old. We had the privilege of getting to know all of the dogs and seeing their personalities shine. Boxers are known as the "class clowns" of the K9 community however, these 10 have not only been funny but so very loving and well behaved. Due to no fault of their own, 3 males and 7 females are now looking for their forever homes. Here are a few of our friends featured below.
GSDR is in the process of getting them all up to date with their vaccines, spayed, neutered and microchipped.

Wonderful news to share this evening from Merrimack NH. Teddy Bear has been FOUND SAFE and SOUND. Thank you to Katherine for calling in the sighting when she saw him running along the side of the highway and noted his direction of travel.

Based on direction of travel Teddy Bear was headed back to his point of escape where friends of the family were waiting with hot food and were able to secure him.

Merrimack NH: Urgent Missing Lab/Shepherd Mix lost in an unfamiliar area/last seen crossing the Everett Turnpike near the outlets. This dog is terrified of strangers and will bolt.

This weeks training for my upcoming ride to benefit , took a different turn. I came across this injured baby in the road, scooped him up and named him Ryan Gosling. This poor guy probably would not have survived the night. He is safe and doing fantastic with a rehab center.

What kind of illnesses can fleas and/or ticks cause?
�Fleas and ticks can transmit many infectious diseases when they take a blood meal from either pets or people. The most common flea of North America can transmit murine typhus, flea-borne spotted fever, cat-scratch disease (bartonellosis), and flea tapeworms. Each tick species is known to transmit specific infectious diseases, including (but not limited to) Lyme disease, ehrlichiosis, anaplasmosis, babesiosis, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, rickettsiosis, tularemia, cytauxzoonosis, and hepatozoonosis. Year round prevention is recommended for all pets.
