Sunset Ridge Farm was opened with one goal in mind, to bring together generations in their love of horses and to create a barn family that includes all. Whether you are looking for training to compete at shows across the state as well as some out of state, or just to learn how to become a better horseman through lessons on ground and in the saddle Sunset Ridge is the home you have been looking for.
Our fabulous team of trainers has over 50 years of combined experience in the equestrian business and work together to give each and every student the well rounded equine education to help them achieve all their goals. We enjoy teaching students of all ages and levels, whether you have a horse crazy child who has been begging for a pony since they could speak or your an adult who put horseback riding to the side because lets face it life happens, we will match you with the perfect instructor. Whether you want to compete in rated shows or just improve your skills in the saddle our trainers can help you create and achieve your goals.
When you board your horse with us we care for them as if they are our own. We carefully create their diet to help to keep them in their best shape, and advise owners on what supplements (if any) best suit their horses needs. Full board includes daily grain, up to 3 times a day, hay in stall and in pastures when needed, daily stall cleaning and fresh straw bedding, daily turn out (weather permitting) use of inside wash stall with heated water and heat lamps, lit arena, and the piece of mind that your horse is receiving the best care possible. All boarders are required to participate in weekly lessons or to have their horse on training board.
