What an amazing start to the New Year! 🥳 We adopted out 17 dogs, 37 cats and 3 small animals for a total of 57 animals adopted in January! 😁

We wish the very best to all of our new adopters. 🥰

We interrupt our usual Valentine's Day posts with a special announcement. 📣

CGHS will be at Union Street Brewing today from 2-5PM for the Puppy Bowl. 🐶🏈 We will be collecting donations and answering questions.

Even though Cain here won't be in attendance, we will have information on all of our available adoption animals. 🐾

Marigold got adopted just over a year ago, but before that she spent a year and a half at the shelter. We are thrilled to announce that she's thriving. 😍

She gets into a little mischief from time to time, but what orange kitty doesn't? 🧡 Her new family absolutely loves her.

Special Events Volunteers needed for the Columbia-Greene Humane Society/SPCA (CGHS/SPCA)

If you’re passionate about helping animals and enjoy working with the public we’d love to have you volunteer with the CGHS/SPCA.

Each year CGHS/SPCA assists more than six thousand animals that are unwanted, lost and/or abused. If you’d like to help us help them, please consider joining CGHS/SPCA as a volunteer.

Many of our special events are weekends and evenings. We can work around your schedule.

So if you have some extra time, dog and cat handling skills and a deep compassion to help animals please consider volunteering with CGHS/SPCA.
