This Wishlist Wednesday, Romeo is asking for gift cards! We use gift cards all the time at the shelter to pay for things in a pinch or for specific items that we need:

-Petco and Petsmart - we use the cards to get special food for our picky eaters and special supplies for pets that need them
-Tractor Supply Company - we get a lot of our litter from here
-Market Basket - we get leafy greens and other helpful veggies from here when we don't have enough for our small animals

Ms. Thang here and I am one super duper cutie pie - all 5lbs of me. Best guess is that I have some Keeshond genes in my background but only a DNA test will unlock the secret. I am silly, sweet, have tons of personality and am about 8 weeks old. I have been fostered with a few small dogs and getting lots of love and attention so that when I am ready for adoption on Saturday Nov 23rd, I'll be pre-loved and pre-spoiled.

Well isn't this embarrassing... We're meeting for the first time and I'm practically naked. eeeek! But wait - don't scroll by - I'll have a fresh new swanky coat in a flash. Send me to the groomers here and there and I'll be "that boy" with the coat all the lady doodles swoon after.

Luckily to make up for my currently silly looks, I rock in the personality arena. I give the best hugs, love a good romp in the yard, will pick up a toy or two for good measure, and will show off some of my moves for good training treats. I'm under 2, smart, and soon to be dapper! And before you ask - PawSafe has no cats and I'm not telling them if I like them. And for that matter, they have no toddlers there either. Let's go home together.

♦️Attention Please: I know many of you are excited about these two dogs, but please don't apply for them under other dogs' names - it creates havoc, and we have plenty of that already - when they are ready for adoption, you'll all be the first to know!

Meet, oh wait - they don’t have names! 😡

These two beautiful dogs don’t have names - can’t really tell you why, but the groomer in TN tells me they were purchased from a breeder by/or for a couple who are now having marital problems and these dogs are now homeless.

Why don’t they have names -I don’t know but I saw this posted and it pi**ed me off to no end. So we are getting them and they will have names! Great names and great homes!

Brother & Sister 7 months old. Reportedly standard poodles. The super nice groomer is getting them vetted for us and hopefully they will be on their way to New England soon.

Let’s get them amazing names. 1-2-3 GO!

Lumi is a beautiful sweet doodle mix ready to be your bestie. Her beautiful coat will sparkle after a spa day and will require brushing and maintenance to stay mat-free. Shelter life is very scary for her so a home that will give her a little time to decompress will be the ticket to unlock Lumi's fun playful and gentle personality. At about 2 years old she is full grown, spayed, medically up to date and has her bags packed to leave the shelter in Eastford ASAP.
