We had fun weekend in West Springfield April 6 & 7.

Merida earned the final leg of her CD-Companion Dog Title on April 6, 2024 with a First place finish at Trap Falls Kennel Club in West Springfield. Merida now qualifies for the Rusty Jones Award. To be eligible, a dog must have earned an NSDTRC (USA) Championship, AKC Companion Dog title and an NSDTRC (USA) Working Certificate. Merida is an amazing dog and I’m incredibly proud of all she has achieved .

Rora loves the show ring and she was Select B*tch both days in a lovely line up of girls. She earmed 5 more points toward her Grand Championship..

This dog was bred to hunt in a very special way. Their color and movement catches the curiosity of ducks, which move in for a closer look. The birds are enticed into gunshot range, where the duck’s goose is cooked. This breed then retrieves the downed game.

Long nails create potential issues for animals — a splayed foot, reduced traction, deformed feet, and even injured tendons over time. When long nails hit the ground, it puts force on the foot and leg structure. This force can potentially lead to arthritis and ongoing pain.
Regular nail trims - every 4-6 weeks are highly recommended 🐱🐶
