It is with the heaviest heart I spread the news of Cody's passing. After 14 wonderful years an incurable and inoperable cancer took him from us.

He was a perfect mascot here at the clinic. He was always quick to ask for a pat on his head or a treat for his belly. He comforted countless pet owners during their stressful times and saved many of his canine friends by donating blood. He looked forward to taking his post every morning and never quite understood why 2 breakfasts wasn't a daily thing.

He was with my family from the time my kids were still toddlers and saw them all the way to adulthood. He saw us through good times and bad. He never complained and took changes in stride.

He was on constant guard on the farm seeking out anyone to pet him. He helped with the ponies and sheep, sometimes too much. He waited patiently until chores were done for his dinner to be served. He was always early to bed in his kennel so he would be well rested for clinic and farm work the next day.

He was the 5th good dog I've been lucky enough to have in my life. I'm sure he's running in green pastures chasing the bunnies from his dreams. I know he will wait patiently with April, Maggie, Buck, and Bandit until my work here is done.

We are so happy to officially introduce our newest staff member Megan!
Megan is a Camden native who then went on to graduate from the International Business College Veterinary Technician program. After graduation, Megan spent the next 7 years working in animal research and is now excited to be in a clinic setting. Outside of work, Megan keeps pretty busy with her 3 children and 2 German shepherds. We are super excited to have her on our team and can't wait for you all to meet her!

Happy Valentine's Day!
Did you give your pet a big smooch this morning? If your furry valentine has breath that's not so sweet they may have more going on than bad breath. Pets need routine dental care too and can experience the same issues (plaque build-up, gum loss, & pain) that people do. Even worse, bacteria in their mouth can enter the bloodstream leading to conditions that affect the heart, liver, and kidneys. Happy New Year! We hope everyone had a great holiday season. As we are slowly getting staff back from maternity leave we have a couple of updates.
We are excited to announce we are once again accepting new clients and returning to a full surgery schedule! For the time being, we will continue to be open Monday through Thursday 8am-5pm, and be closed on Fridays.
Thank you to all our clients who trusted us to care for their furry family members in 2021, we look forward to continuing to provide the best possible care to patients old and new in 2022!

Just a post to update all of our clients. We have employees out on maternity leave temporarily. Monday through Thursday we will keep normal 8a-5p hours. We will be open only in the mornings on Fridays (and maybe closed on Fridays all day) until December 1st. We will also not be accepting any new clients during this time (we will accept new patients from established clients). New clients can make appointments for anytime after December 1st. We will continue to keep everyone updated as we go through these changes. Thank You in advance to all of our clients and fur babies for your understanding.

Good Morning, Everyone!

We wanted to make a quick post to let our clients know that Marinna is now on maternity leave, and Nicole will be soon to follow. Please be patient with us as our remaining staff adjust to this new transition, and call ahead for any medication refills/prevention pickups.
As we make our way through this transition there will be some small changes to our office/hours. We are currently NOT accepting new clients. If you are already a client and add a furry new addition to your family we will still be happy to see them! We will be sure to post updates to keep everyone informed of any other changes.

Hello, Everyone! As we bring in the new month of August, a couple of VERY important messages come with it. August is Immunization Awareness Month as well as Itchy Pet Awareness Month.

We utilize a reminder system that will text, email, or mail you your pet's reminders for when they are due for vaccines. Please, do not hesitate to reach out to us and schedule those appointments to keep your fur babies up to date on vaccines.

Itchy dogs are VERY common this time of year and can be for a handful of reasons. If your pet seems to be itchier than normal recently, please call the office, FB message, or email to schedule an appointment. Dr. Taylor will be happy to educate you on the reason for the itchiness and the simple treatments that we can provide to alleviate that itch for your pets.

Hello, Everyone!

We wanted to give clients an update on the COVID rules and regulations for the clinic. As many of you know, the state has now lifted the mask mandate, as of midnight tonight, not only for those that are vaccinated but for those that are not as well. We are no longer requiring masks to be worn inside the clinic. Clients also no longer have to honk their horns before entering the building.

We are continuing to stagger appointments to ensure that the staff is able to thoroughly disinfect the clinic before and after each client/patient. We do still ask that you continue to schedule your medication pick-ups as this is a great help to the staff.
