We are a small hobby farm on a little more than an acre.

My name is Mindy a mother of 3 boys, 5 beautiful grandchildren and happily married for 17 years to my best friend Jim. We live in Hudson FL located centrally on the west coast. I am originally from Indiana and Jim is from Pennsylvania, we both have lived in Florida for over 25 years. We spend most of our spare time enjoying our 5 grandchildren, 6 dogs and small a variety of Silkies. My love for ch

ickens began when i knew I was going to be a grandmother, and wanted to have fresh colorful egg basket and share a hobby with my grandchildren. One day someone gave me a beautiful little Partridge Silkie and the rest is history. I don’t show, as I don’t have time and any extra time is spent with my family. I have had several birds from my line win at shows. How exciting is that !!!! I do breed to the SOP (standard of perfection) as best I can. And believe i have a keen eye of what Is consider a beautiful Silkie. I am very proud of my birds and will always find things to improve. We also enjoy raising our Lionhead and Holland Lops and offer babies from time to time. Also I have a passion for gardening, decorating, cooking, making elderberry syrup, Bird herb and taking photos around our farm. Our animals are our happy place and an enjoyable kind of therapy we choose for relieving stress and anxiety. Our flock free range daily as i believe a happy chicken is a healthy chicken. We are as organic as possible. Our dream was to move to a little urban farm and retire with hobbies that we both have a passion for and enjoy.

Home again 😻 with that said all my chicken are coming available. I’ll will be keeping a few hens for eggs and a rooster just for protection. They are available in groups all silkies, quad bantam Faverolles and random roosters and a few hens.

Considering selling off what flock I have left. Consists of 17 lF hens and 3 rooster. Most hens and all roosters are Hedemora, all other hens are Hedemora crosses. I have a couple Amercaunas hens and 1 Black Copper Maran. Any interest plz message me. All go together and I get roughly 1 dozen eggs daily.
