STEP 1: Bathe with shampoo, moisturizing conditioner & a deshedding treatment.
- Shampoo to cleanse the coat.
- Conditioner to return the proper amount of healthy oils back to the coat, helping to avoid any irritation or dry skin.
- Deshedding treatment to remove any blown/shedding coat so it doesn't end up all over your house!
STEP 2: Force dry
- A force dryer is a heated blow dryer that forces out any water the coat is holding, helps release any loose or shedding fur & dries the coat leaving a silky & shiny finish.
STEP 3: Clean ears, brush teeth, trim & file nails.
- Cleaning your dogs ears on a regular basis not only helps prevent any bacteria from building up which can lead to infection, but also reduces itching & irritation helping your pet feel their best.
- Brushing your dogs teeth can works wonders when it comes to plaque buildup if you're dedicated to doing it everyday and remain consistent. However, unfortunately you will not see many results if this is not done daily. Luckily, dogs have pretty great hygiene on their own when it comes to dental health, so unlike humans, daily teeth brushing is not a necessity - but while you're dog is under my care I make it my personal priority that they feel their absolute best by the time they get off my table, and who doesn't love the feeling of fresh pearly whites?!
- Nail trims are automatically included in your pets groom, but sometimes by cutting the nails it can leave behind sharp edges that can scratch you just as bad as an untrimmed nail. This is where nail filing comes in! I offer a nail dremel add on service for just $5 that files and smooths those sharp edges after a nail trim.
STEP 4: Brush, spray & send on his way!
- Tuukka's coat requires a rubber brush that helps grab and remove any stubborn blown coat left behind after the deshedding force drying treatments.
- Lastly, some doggy cologne & a bandana for this handsome guy and back with his family he goes. 😊🫶🏼
