As a caregiver for your child, it will be my privilege to be involved in all the special moments that come from raising a child. As a certified Paraprofessional, I have worked with children with learning disabilities in an inclusive classroom environment. It is my practice, to get to know the individual child and figure out how to make a connection with that child and help them grow emotionally and academically. In my past experiences I have truly enjoyed getting to know infants and children of all ages and seeing how much they grow and achieve in what seems like such a short period of time. I pride myself in being cheerful, friendly but also being able to guide children when they need to be guided in a gentle and professional manner. As your child's caregiver, I would sit down with the whole family and have a chance to talk to you about your philosophy of bringing up your child or children, as I want to be on the same page as the parent or caretaker of the children I look after. I think communication and respect is key when it comes to a relationship between a caregiver and parent/caretaker. I truly enjoy being around children and animals, as they are so sweet and caring and open and I feel like adults can learn so much from them. Cat and Dog Caretaker: I will happily watch your pets overnight, which includes walks, playtime and feedings. I also offer the service of dog walking or coming by to let your dog or cat in and out and check in on them if needed. I promise to treat your pets like my own...I treat my own like family! My experience includes:
