Hi everyone, my name is Master Chief. I was brought to a shelter a few weeks ago because my dad died and then my mom had to move in to hospice. I miss my family 😞. The kennel staff tell me they love me and I’m just the sweetest boy, it breaks their hearts that I’m still waiting for someone to love me. Is it because I’m 14 years old? I sure hope people don’t ignore me because of my age. I have so much love to give.

I am said to be very well rounded and loving. I met the kennel managers two boys, I did wonderfully with them. When I got to go home with them for a night, I just ignored the cats. I enjoy other dogs. In fact, my little nub goes crazy when I see another dog. I have never had accidents in my kennel. I enjoys walks, and I equally love curling up for a little snooze. I’m not a barker. I’m overall just a really nice old man. I’m completly up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. I did have a few teeth removed when I first got to the shelter, but the doggy doctor said I’m in good health 🩺. I’m 25 lbs, neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.

Marge ended up with us after being found as a stray in Spring Hill. She was running loose with two other dogs and brought in by an Animal Enforcement Officer. The other two dogs have since been adopted and now it’s her turn!!

Like most dogs, being brought into the shelter can be a confusing and scary experience. It took our volunteers a few tries to get her to leave her kennel and even though she is still a bit shy and can be skittish in certain situations, she is friendly and willing to come outside in the sunshine.

Marge is a medium sized dog, weighing 40lbs. She did come in with two dogs, we are still learning her likes and dislikes with other pups, but so far she seems friendly with the few she has met. Cats and kiddos unknown.
