We are thrilled to announce a new video series called “5 Strides with Sea Hunter Farm”. Each episode will showcase individuals who have made a significant impact at SHF. This includes our riders, trainers, parents, and anyone contributing to our mission.Thank you to my husband Joe who came up with this great idea. Joe will be interviewing someone at each horse show we attend.

Awesome weekend at Bruce’s Field. We had some sunshine and warmer temps.

JOLY’S GELLA gets the MVP award for the weekend. With .menis in the irons she was champion 🏆 in the Large ponies winning 3 of 5 classic, won 🥇 the Classic and qualifying for Pony Finals! She went on to the Children’s pony division with Rowan and brought home another Champion 🏆.

PARIS NIGHTS and had super consistent rides all weekend with a 🥉in the Governor’s Cup Medal, 6th in the THIS medal and top ribbons in the Children’s Hunter including 🥉o/f and u/s.

PHINEUS FOG and had a great weekend doing their first National Derby, 4th in the Governor’s Cup Medal, 🥉in the THIS medal.

ARAMONA K and had great improvement with a 🥈o/f and 🥈 u/s in a large Children’s Hunter division.

GREYMEADOWS SOCK MONSTER and Piper had a great weekend for the second time in the Medium Pony division. They had great trips including a🥈o/f🥈in the handy and🥈in the Pony Classic.

MAYA and had a blast in jumper land. They were so handy and speedy going clear all weekend in the Jr/Am 1.0M including a🥈in the $500 1.0M Stakes class.

So proud of the entire . Back to Aiken in a couple weeks then on to 🌴🌞

A little cold but we managed to not freeze and put in some good rides at the Aiken Winter Classic Week 1 to start off the new year.

SALTWATER COWBOY ridden by Kit and Merritt - Champion 🏆 Baby Greens winning 3 of the 5 classes.

PHINEUS FOG and Helen Belle - Champion 🏆 in the Children’s Hunter winning 2 o/f classes. 🥇in the THIS Medal and🥉Gov Cup Medal. Also ridden by Kit to Reserve Champion 🏆 in the USHJA 2’9”.

ARAMONA K and McLaurin had good rounds in the Children’s Hunter winning 1 of the o/f classes. 🥈THIS medal and Gov Cup Medal.

WOODLANDS AGAINST THE WIND and Merritt - Champion 🏆🏆 Large Pony Hunter and Schooling Ponies with 3 wins o/f and winning both u/s.

GREYMEADOWS SOCK MONSTER and Piper - first time this pair has tackled the Medium Pony division with great rounds.

REYNARD CHANTEUSE and Merritt - Reserve Champion 🏆 Medium Green Pony winning 1 o/f and the hack. Also ridden by Avery in the Schooling Ponies with a🥈in the u/s.

Super excited to welcome REYNARD CHANTUESE (aka Sofia) to the SHF family, and even more excited to congratulate Avery and the Abbate Family on the lease of this sweet pony. Over the weekend Sofia qualified for Pony Finals in the Medium Greens with .menis in the irons. We can’t wait to watch Avery and Sofia grow together.
